The New Pornographers are a Canadian indie rock band, formed in 1997 in Vancouver. Challengers is the fourth studio album by Canadian indie rock band the New Pornographers, released on August 21, 2007. The track listing for the album was revealed June 1, 2007. A box set containing three blank CD-Rs, named "Executive Edition", was released August 7, 2007, two weeks before the album, with the promise of future multimedia to be downloaded at the band's website for fans to compile and burn their own CDs. Tick–tock was a production model adopted in 2007 by chip manufacturer Intel. Under this model, every microarchitecture change (tock) was followed by a die shrink of the process technology (tick). It was replaced by the process–architecture–optimization model, which was announced in 2016 and is like a tick–tock cycle followed by an optimization phase. "Tick Tock" is a song by English electronic music group Clean Bandit and English singer Mabel, featuring American rapper 24kGoldn. It was written by Mabel, 24kGoldn, Kamille, Grace Chatto and Jack Patterson, the latter two of whom also produced the song with Mark Ralph. It was released by Atlantic Records UK on 21 August 2020 as the first single from Clean Bandit's upcoming third studio album. The song is also included as a bonus track on digital and streaming versions of Mabel's debut studio album, High Expectations.

Love Is Yours is the second studio album by indie rock band Flasher, released on 17 June 2022 by Domino. The album was created as a duo of guitarist Taylor Mulitz and drummer Emma Baker following the departure of the band's bassist, and written from 2020 during the onset of the coronavirus pandemic. Upon release, Love is Yours received generally favorable reviews, with critics directing praise to the more introspective, personal lyrics, although with reviews mixed on the merits of the album's lighter, more pop-oriented direction compared to its predecessor, Constant Image.
