Fucking Awesome (also known simply as FA due to the use of the expletive fuck in the brand's full name) is an American skateboard company and streetwear brand. [1] FA was created by professional skateboarders Jason Dill and Anthony Van Engelen. [2] [3] FA has created collaborations with brands like Vans, Adidas, and Independent Trucks. [4] [5] [6]

FA has a sister brand called "Hockey." [7] FA is close with Hockey and the brand often releases video parts using both sets of teams.

In 2019, FA opened their first physical location in Los Angeles, on Hollywood Boulevard. [8] They opened their second location in 2021, in Lower Manhattan, New York City.

Dylan Rieder

Dylan Rieder was a professional skateboarder and model who was a founding member of the Fucking Awesome team. Rieder died in 2016 due to complications from leukemia. [9] He is frequently memorialized by the company.

FA has released numerous skateboarding videos including: Hockey, Hockey II, Hockey III, Hockey X, Triple Backflip, 420 E 9th St, Louie Lopez Days of grace, Louie Lopez again and again, and Dancing on Thin Ice. [10]

Alien Workshop (AWS) is an independent American skateboarding company that was founded in 1990 by Chris Carter, Mike Hill, and Neil Blender in Dayton, Ohio. Following periods under the ownership of the Burton snowboard company and original team rider Rob Dyrdek in 2012, the company was acquired by Pacific Vector Holdings in October 2013. Alien Workshop produced skateboard decks, wheels, apparel, and other skateboard accessories prior to its closure in May 2014. In 2015, Alien Workshop was revived with an all-amateur team and distribution through Tum Yeto. They released a series of new skate decks and Bunker Down, the brand's sixth video. As of 2016, Alien Workshop, led by Mike Hill phased out working with Tum-Yeto and moved all operations back to the Mound Laboratories in Miamisburg, Ohio. After a tumultuous ownership history they have returned to operations as an independent company.

FUCT or Friends U Can't Trust is a clothing brand founded in Los Angeles in 1990 by American artist and designer Erik Brunetti and partner at the time, professional skateboarder Natas Kaupas. Brunetti has said he choose the name "FUCT" because it was a homophone of the expletive "fucked" and he wanted people to question its pronunciation. FUCT has been referred to as one of the pioneering brands of modern streetwear, often incorporating various elements and icons of pop culture alongside anti-government and anti-religious campaigns into their designs including the use of parodied logos.

Anthony Van Engelen is an American professional skateboarder whose stance is Regular. In the skateboarding scene he is well known by the name “AVE”, which is an acronym of his full name.
