Contents

The men's tournament was the only event scheduled to be contested. A total of 72 athletes (12 per team) competed in the event. The tournament was an open competition without age restrictions. [1]

Hosts Colombia are the defending gold medallists.

Originally scheduled to be held in Sucre, Bolivia from 17 April to 1 May 2020, the inaugural edition of the Bolivarian Youth Games underwent several postponements until it was definitively scheduled to be held from 4 to 14 April 2024.
