Future Disco is a compilation series and event brand. Their second instalment of the series Future Disco Vol. 2 received the Best Disco Album award on iTunes Best of 2009 list. [1]

History

Future Disco started back in 2009 by Sean Brosnan. Future Disco started as a compilation series and grew to become a record label, radio show, curator and touring DJ act. Their resident DJs have hosted stages at festivals in various countries, including summer residencies at the Space Nightclub in Spain.

Future Disco Vol. 10 - Complete. Repeat. A Disco Drama was released on 25 November 2016, and marks the end of the numerical series. Future Disco 10 will round-up the long running compilation with an edition inspired by the many ups and downs that have befallen the dance world over the years.

The compilation had support from a number of media titles and radio stations including Nemone on 6Music, [2] Earmilk, [3] Thump, [4] DJ Mag, MixMag, Attack Magazine, and Faze Magazine.

Recent releases of Future Disco include names such as: Alan Dixon, Lifelike, Saison, MAXI MERAKI, Ekkah and Kraak & Smaak.

Markus Schulz Musical artist

Markus Schulz is a German DJ and record producer based in Miami, Florida. Best known for his weekly radio show titled Global DJ Broadcast that airs on Digitally Imported radio, ah.fm and other online stations, Schulz is also the founder of the label Coldharbour Recordings and Schulz Music Group (SMG), an artist management company that manages rising stars in the industry. In September 2012, Schulz was crowned America's number one DJ by DJ Times.

Steven Hiroyuki Aoki is an American DJ, record producer, music programmer, record executive, and heir to his father Rocky Aoki's fortune from the Benihana restaurant franchise. In 2012, Pollstar designated Aoki as the highest grossing electronic dance music artist in North America from tours.

Sean Tyas, is an American DJ and electronic music producer based in Switzerland. His productions and DJ sets are mainly based upon trance music.

Don Diablo Dutch musician (born 1980)

Don Pepijn Schipper, better known by his stage name Don Diablo, is a Dutch DJ, digital artist, record producer, musician and songwriter of electronic dance music from Coevorden. He is one of the pioneers of the future house genre and was ranked sixth in the Top 100 DJs – 2020 list by DJ Mag. He was also ranked number one Producer of the Year for 2018 by 1001Tracklists. In 2016, he was ranked the number one Future House Artist of the Year on Beatport.

Orlando Tobias Edward Higginbottom, known professionally as Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, is a British electronic music producer, DJ and singer-songwriter based in the United States.

Owsla American record label

Owsla is an American record label and creative collective. It was founded by Skrillex, Tim Smith, Kathryn Frazier, and Clayton Blaha in 2011. Skrillex announced the label on August 17, 2011. The label's first release was Porter Robinson's Spitfire.

Dyro Dutch DJ and record producer

Jordy van Egmond, known professionally as Dyro, is a Dutch DJ and EDM producer. Since 2010 he has released original singles and remixes on labels such as Revealed Recordings, Musical Freedom, and Def Jam, and has also released official remixes for tracks such as "Right Now" by Rihanna and "Iron" by Nicky Romero and Calvin Harris. He collaborated with Tiësto on a single titled "Paradise" in 2013, and also that year he collaborated with Hardwell on the single "Never Say Goodbye". Featuring Bright Lights, it peaked at No. 23 on the UK Dance Chart. In 2014 Dyro ranked No. 27 on the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs list.
