New Democracy was a political party in Sweden. It was founded in 1991 and elected into the Riksdag in the 1991 Swedish general election. It lost all its seats in the Riksdag in the subsequent election in 1994, and its subsequent decline culminated in bankruptcy in February 2000, at which time it retained only one city council post. Local factions of New Democracy reformed into minor parties such as Sjöbopartiet, which experienced mixed success.
The Communist Party (Swedish: Kommunistiska partiet, K) is a Marxist–Leninist political party in Sweden started in 1970. From 1970 to 1977, it was known as the Communist League Marxist–Leninists (Revolutionaries) (Swedish: Kommunistiska Förbundet Marxist-Leninisterna (revolutionärerna), KFML(r)) and from 1977 to 2004 as the Communist Party Marxist–Leninists (Revolutionaries) (Swedish: Kommunistiska Partiet Marxist-Leninisterna (revolutionärerna), KPML(r)). At the 14th Party Congress held in Gothenburg in January 2005, it was decided to change the name to the current one.
The Donald Duck Party is a Swedish joke political party named after the Disney character Donald Duck. The party has received joke or protest votes without actually existing for several years; however, before the 2002 Swedish general election, Malmö citizen Bosse Persson had ballots made for the party. Contrary to popular belief, however, the party was never officially registered with the Election Authority.
General elections were held in Sweden on 17 September 2006, to elect members to the Riksdag, the Swedish national legislature. All 349 seats were up for election: 310 fixed seats in 29 constituencies and 39 adjustment seats, used to ensure that parties have representation in the Riksdag proportional to their share of the national vote. The electoral system used was semi-open list proportional representation using the Sainte-Laguë method of allocating seats. Elections for County and Municipal councils were also held on the same day.
Ulf Hjalmar Kristersson is a Swedish politician who has been serving as Prime Minister of Sweden since 2022. He has been the leader of the Moderate Party (M) since October 2017 and a member of the Riksdag (MP) for Södermanland County since 2014 and for Stockholm County from 1991 to 2000. He previously served as Minister for Social Security from 2010 to 2014 and as Chairman of the Moderate Youth League from 1988 to 1992.
Unity is a small political party in Sweden. The party was founded on 6 April 1990 on the initiative of Ulf Wåhlström. It started with some influences from New Age and spirituality, but is nowadays a political party mostly focused on the environment, an unconditional income floor with a basic income and alternative medicine. The party has taken part in every national election in Sweden since 1991, mostly with limited success. The election 2014 was the best so far, with 0.1 percent of the total votes. In the Swedish national election 2018 the party received 0.06 percent of the total votes.

General elections were held in Sweden on 9 September 2018 to elect the 349 members of the Riksdag. Regional and municipal elections were also held on the same day. The incumbent minority government, consisting of the Social Democrats and the Greens and supported by the Left Party, won 144 seats, one seat more than the four-party Alliance coalition, with the Sweden Democrats winning the remaining 62 seats. The Social Democrats' vote share fell to 28.3 percent, its lowest level of support since 1911.
Party of the Swedes was a neo-Nazi political party in Sweden. The party described itself as nationalist and sought to limit Swedish citizenship only to individuals who belong to the "Western genetic and cultural legacy". From 2013 to 2015 the party leader was Stefan Jacobsson. The party dissolved on 10 May 2015 due to lack of members.
Citizens' Coalition, officially known as Bourgeois Future until 2017, is a right-wing political party in Sweden that was founded in 2014. The party considers itself liberal-conservative and green conservative, while observers described it as a right-wing party critical of immigration and conservative.
Dalarna County is one of the 29 multi-member constituencies of the Riksdag, the national legislature of Sweden. The constituency was established as Kopparberg County in 1970 when the Riksdag changed from a bicameral legislature to a unicameral legislature. It was renamed Dalarna County in 1998. It is conterminous with the county of Dalarna. The constituency currently elects nine of the 349 members of the Riksdag using the open party-list proportional representation electoral system. At the 2022 general election it had 221,344 registered electors.

She served as Minister for European Union Affairs and Minister for Nordic Cooperation in the cabinet of Ulf Kristersson from 2022 to 2024. She was Member of the Riksdag from the 2010 general election to 2024, representing Uppsala County.
