Gabriele Barbaro (born 17 March 1950) is a former Italian male long-distance runner who competed at one edition of the IAAF World Cross Country Championships at senior level (1973), [1]
World Athletics Cross Country Championships is the most important competition in international cross country running. Formerly held annually and organised by World Athletics, it was inaugurated in 1973, when it replaced the International Cross Country Championships. Amman is also only the second occasion on which Asia has hosted the World Cross Country Championships, which are the oldest IAAF World Athletics Series event, first celebrated under the IAAF banner in 1973.
