Gal Branch is a stream in Crawford and Gasconade counties in the U.S. state of Missouri. [1] It is a tributary of Brush Creek. [2]
The stream headwaters arise at 38°11′44″N91°23′37″W / 38.19556°N 91.39361°W [1] and its confluence with Brush Creek is approximately one mile north of Oak Hill [2] at 38°13′23″N91°25′20″W / 38.22306°N 91.42222°W . [1]
Gal Branch was so named for the fact a large share of the early residents were girls. [3]
