Game Makers is a TV show that aired on G4 from September 4, 2003, [1] to 2006. The series followed the process of video game development, as a company attempts to finish a new video game in time for shipment. Game Makers aired infrequently and was referred to as a "G4 Special Presentation" rather than a separate entity. The series was cancelled and taken off air in early 2006.

After the revamp of Icons in June 2006, the classic game based episodes of Icons began to air under the name Game Makers, with no relation to the original version of Game Makers.

He is best known as the host for the video game review series Xplay and the editor-in-chief for G4's video game section. Upon his departure from G4 in April 2012, Sessler was its longest-tenured television personality, having originally been hired by its predecessor ZDTV in 1998.

G4 Media, LLC is a company within the Comcast Corporation which maintains the programming of G4, a 24-hour cable and satellite channel dedicated to video games, along with its former competitor, TechTV/ZDTV. NBCUniversal holds a controlling interest in G4 Media, with Dish Network holding a minority interest of approximately 12% because its former parent company held a minority interest in TechTV and owned Dish Network. Prior to the Comcast/NBCUniversal merger, Comcast owned the network, previously named G4 Media, Inc.

Attack of the Show! (AOTS) is an American live television program that airs on G4. AOTS features segments on pop culture, video games, and movies. After an initial run from 2005 to 2013, the show was revived in 2021. The current incarnation of the program features an ensemble cast, including returning original host Kevin Pereira, Kassem G, Fiona Nova, Gina Darling, Will Neff, with occasional appearances by Xavier Woods.

Reviews on the Run is a video game review TV show hosted by Victor Lucas and Scott C. Jones. The show is produced by Lucas' company Greedy Productions. The two hosts rate games independently on a scale of .5 point increments from 0 through 10, with 0 being the lowest and 10 being the highest.

<i>Gamer.tv</i>

Gamer.tv was a weekly television show produced by the company of the same name and owned by IMG, that ran from 2002 to 2008. Each half-hour episode mixed topical video game news, reviews, previews and features. The series aired on a number of networks around the world including Bravo in the United Kingdom and Starz in North America. It was also shown in Canada, South America, Spain, India, and New Zealand, and video segments appeared on a number of websites, as well, including MSN. The show was banned in China.

Starcade is a game show where contestants competed against one another by playing arcade video games. The series originally aired on TBS from 1982 to 1983, followed by a run in syndication for the following season.

Game Center Arashi is a Japanese manga by Mitsuru Sugaya, which ran in CoroCoro Comic from 1978 to 1984. It focus on Arashi Ishino, a young gamer whose life revolves around video games. The manga, which is one of the earliest Japanese video game-themed comics, sold over 5 million copies and won the 1983 Shogakukan Manga Award for children's manga. The series was adapted as a popular anime television show that aired in 1982 in Japan on Mondays from 7:00pm to 7:30pm.; and in Hong Kong.

Blip (website)

Blip was an American media platform for web series content and also offered a dashboard for producers of original web series to distribute and monetize their productions. The company was founded on May 5, 2005, and it was located in New York City and Los Angeles. It was financed by Bain Capital Ventures, Canaan Partners, and Ambient Sound Investments. Blip's mission statement was “to deliver the best original web series to audiences across multiple platforms.” The site showcased a wide variety of dramas, comedies, arts, sports and other shows. Blip was acquired by Maker Studios in 2013 and shut down by them on August 20, 2015.

Boost Mobile MLG Pro Circuit was a television program on US cable television network USA, and later G4, airing recordings of the Major League Gaming (MLG) Halo 2 Pro Circuit in 2006 and 2007. It was sponsored by Boost Mobile and Scion. Boost subscribers had access to exclusive videos such as match highlights and player profiles. The production company was Red Brick Entertainment.
