Paul Sculthorpe MBE is an English former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. A Great Britain international representative stand-off or loose forward, he began his career at Warrington before joining St Helens, with whom he won a total of four Grand Finals, four Challenge Cups and two World Club Challenges, as well as becoming the first player to win the Man of Steel Award on two consecutive occasions. He is the older brother of former player Danny Sculthorpe.

Pat Richards is a former professional rugby league footballer. An Ireland international representative winger, he played in the National Rugby League for Sydney clubs the Parramatta Eels and the Wests Tigers, with whom he won the 2005 NRL Premiership, and the Wigan Warriors and the Catalans Dragons in the Super League, winning the 2010 and 2013 Super League Grand Finals with the former. While in Super League, Richards won the Man of Steel award in 2010 and is the highest overseas points-scorer in the competition's history.
Paul Deacon is an English former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s. A Great Britain and England international representative stand-off or scrum-half, he played in the Super League for Oldham, the Bradford Bulls, and his home-town club, the Wigan Warriors. Deacon followed this with becoming a member of Wigan's coaching staff, working closely with manager Shaun Wane.
Alexander James Murphy OBE is an English former professional rugby league footballer, and coach of the mid to late 20th century. Known as 'Murphy the Mouth' and regarded as one of the greatest halfbacks in the history of the British game, he represented Great Britain in 27 Tests and his club career was played at three clubs, St. Helens, Leigh and Warrington. Murphy assumed a player-coach role of the last two clubs and expanded his coaching role toward the end of his playing career to include clubs such as Wigan, Salford and Huddersfield. He later returned to both Warrington and Leigh respectively as a football manager. He was the first player to captain three different clubs to victory in the Challenge Cup Final.
Paul John Loughlin is an English former rugby league centre who played for his hometown team St. Helens, the Bradford Bulls, the Huddersfield Giants and the Swinton Lions.
Michael De Vere is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. He represented Australia in four tests and New South Wales in five State of Origin matches. A goal-kicking outside back who could play centre, wing or fullback and also a skilful goal-kicker who ended his career having kicked at 76.62%, De Vere played club football for the Brisbane Broncos in the NRL, with whom he won the 1997, 1998 and 2000 premierships. He later played with English club the Huddersfield Giants in the Super League, reaching the 2006 Challenge Cup final. In 2009, he instigated a comeback with the Brisbane Broncos, which only lasted one game before he retired.

He now coaches the under 20s as an assistant to Ian Talbot.
