Telemark is a county and a current electoral district in Norway. Telemark borders the counties of Vestfold, Buskerud, Vestland, Rogaland and Agder. In 2020, Telemark merged with the county of Vestfold to form the county of Vestfold og Telemark. On 1 January 2024, the county of Telemark was re-established after Vestfold og Telemark was divided again.
Kragerø is a municipality in Telemark county, Norway. It is located in the traditional districts of Grenland and the smaller Vestmar. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Kragerø. Villages in Kragerø include Helle, Vadfoss, Kil, and Portør.
Portør is a village in Kragerø Municipality in Telemark county, Norway. The village is located on the southern Skaggerak coast of the municipality, about 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) straight south of the town of Kragerø. The Jomfruland National Park lies just off shore from Portør.
Tisleifjorden is a lake on the border of Innlandet and Buskerud counties in Norway. The lake lies in Nord-Aurdal municipality in Innlandet county, as well in Gol and Hemsedal municipalities in Buskerud county. Tisleifjorden is dammed for hydroelectric power. The height of the lake sits around 819 metres (2,687 ft) above sea level, but it can vary up to 11 metres (36 ft). The 13.54-square-kilometre (5.23 sq mi) lake has a circumference of about 32.5 kilometres (20.2 mi). It is located about 25 kilometres (16 mi) to the southwest of the town of Fagernes.
Hallingdalselva is a river which flows through the valley and traditional district of Hallingdal in Buskerud County, Norway. Within the valley, the river is often referred to as the Great River (Storåne).
Sannidal is a former municipality in Telemark county, Norway. The 197-square-kilometre (76 sq mi) municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 1960. The area is now part of Kragerø Municipality. The administrative centre was the village of Kil where the Sannidal Church is located.

Vestfold og Telemark was a county in Norway, which existed from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2023. The county was the southernmost one of Eastern Norway and consisted of two distinct and separate traditional regions: the former counties of Telemark and Vestfold. The capital was located in the town of Skien, which was also the county's largest city. While Skien was the seat of the county municipality, the seat of the County Governor was Tønsberg. It bordered the counties of Viken, Vestland, Rogaland and Agder until its dissolution.
