Geir Televik (born 23 July 1971) is a retired Norwegian football striker.
He started his career in Tornado FK. [2] For IL Hødd he participated in their promotion to the highest level after the 1994 season. [3] He scored 13 goals in the 1995 Norwegian Premier League; only five players had more goals. [4] After the 1996 season he was sold to Molde FK for 450,000 kr. [5]
He spent some time in the early summer of 1998 on loan to Hødd. [6] After the 1998 season Reading F.C. had him on trial, but neither Televik nor Trond Strande was offered a contract. [7] Televik was released from Molde in December. [8] He rejoined Hødd. [1] In late 1999 he was loaned by Aalesunds FK for the playoffs to the First Division. [9] He retired after the 2005 season. They participated in Eliteserien, winning the title for the 4th time, reached the third round of the Cup and were knocked out of the 2019–20 UEFA Europa League in the playoff round by FK Partizan after entering at the First qualifying round stage. Molde were scheduled to take part in the 2019 Mesterfinalen against Rosenborg, but the match was cancelled 15 March 2019 due to heavy rain.
