The Victorian cricket team, who were named Victorian Bushrangers between 1995 and 2018, is an Australian first-class cricket team based in Melbourne, Victoria. The Victoria cricket team, which first played in 1851, represents the state of Victoria in the Sheffield Shield first-class competition and the Marsh One Day Cup competition. The team shares home matches between the Melbourne Cricket Ground and the Junction Oval. They currently play most of their games at the Junction Oval.

Geoffrey Arthur Edrich was born in Lingwood, Norfolk, on 13 July 1918. He was an English first-class cricketer who played in 339 matches for Lancashire between 1946 and 1958 as a right-handed batsman. Before his first-class career, he had played Minor Counties cricket for Norfolk (1937–1939), and after his first-class retirement he returned to the Minor Counties, this time playing for Cumberland (1960–1962). Whilst at Cumberland, he was also professional for Workington Cricket Club.

Geoffrey Miller, is an English former cricketer, who played in 34 Test matches and 25 One Day Internationals for the England cricket team between 1976 and 1984. He played for Derbyshire from 1973 to 1986, captaining the side from 1979 to 1981, and returned in 1990 after playing for Essex between 1987 and 1989. He was an England selector from 2008 to 2013 and was appointed President of Derbyshire C.C.C. in March 2014.
Axe ties are railway ties that are hewn by hand, usually with a broadaxe. There are 2,900 ties per mile of track on a first class railroad. The early railways would not accept ties cut with a saw, as it was claimed that the kerf of the saw splintered the fibres of the wood, leaving them more likely to soak up moisture causing premature rot.

Geoffrey Alan Millar is a former Australian cricketer who played several matches for Western Australia during the early 1980s. From Perth, Millar played at colts level during the late 1970s, generally as an all-rounder. He made his Sheffield Shield debut for Western Australia during the 1981–82 competition, and failed to take a wicket in what was to be his only first-class match. In the match, against Queensland at the WACA Ground in February 1982, he was part of a pace attack that included David Boyd, Mick Malone, and Ken MacLeay. Millar also appeared at List A level several times for Western Australia. In his first match, the third-place playoff of the 1981–82 McDonald's Cup, he took 2/17 and scored 30 runs, and was thus named man of the match. His two further matches both occurred in the following year's tournament. At grade cricket level, Millar played 177 matches for the Mount Lawley District Cricket Club.
Darrin Joseph Ramshaw is a former Australian cricketer who played at domestic level for Western Australia and Victoria during the late 1980s and early 1990s. The son of Graham Ramshaw, Ramshaw was a talented junior sportsman, playing Australian rules football for the Perth Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) and representing the Australian under-19 cricket team. He made his Sheffield Shield debut for Western Australia during the 1989–90 season, but moved to Victoria the following season, where he established himself as an opening batsman. Later moving to the middle order, in the absence of Dean Jones Ramshaw captained Victoria in several matches during the 1993–94 season, but that season was his last at state level. He later served as assistant coach of Tasmania and coach of Western Australia's under-19 team.
Geoffrey Ian "Geoff" Cullen is a former professional Australian cricketer who played a single match for Western Australia during the 2000–01 season. From Perth, Cullen played matches for the state second XI and colts teams from the 1998–99 season onwards. He did not make his first-class debut until the 2000–01 season, playing a single Sheffield Shield match against Victoria in early March 2001. In the match, played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Cullen scored five runs in Western Australia's first innings, and did not bat in the second. Having also had a particularly successful season for Claremont–Nedlands in the local grade cricket competition, scoring 852 runs at an average of 56.80, Cullen was awarded a state contract from the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) for the following season. Despite being a regular selection in the second XI during both the 2001–02 and 2002–03 seasons, he did not play at senior level again. Cullen did, however, go on to spend the 2008 English season playing for South Shields in the North East Premier League, leading the team's batting averages.
Geoff Allardice is an Australian former cricketer. He played 14 first-class cricket matches for Victoria between 1991 and 1994. He is the current General Manager of Cricket for the International Cricket Council (ICC). He was part of the selection panel to appoint officials for the 2015 Cricket World Cup.
Geoff Tamblyn is an Australian former cricketer. He played one first-class cricket match for Victoria in 1974.
Geoff Richardson is an Australian former cricketer. He played 15 first-class cricket matches for Victoria between 1982 and 1985.

Wil Parker is an Australian cricketer. He made his first-class debut on 14 February 2020, for Victoria in the 2019–20 Sheffield Shield season. He became the fourth-youngest cricketer to make their first-class debut for Victoria. His uncle, Geoff Parker, also played first-class cricket for Victoria.
