George Fouracres (born 1989 or 1990) [1] is a British actor and comedian. He is a member of the comedy trio Daphne with Phil Wang and Jason Forbes. His field of acting includes television, theatre, and voice acting. In 2026, he was announced as a cast member on the first series of Saturday Night Live UK .
Fouracres was born and raised in Wolverhampton to a family of fourteen. [2] [3] He attended University of Cambridge, and was a member of Cambridge Footlights. [4] While in Footlights, he performed under the name "George Potts". [5] [6] In 2012, he was a part of the Footlights Tour Show along side Jason Forbes, Pierre Novellie, Emma Powell and Phil Wang. [7] [4]
In 2014, he formed the comedy trio Daphne with Phil Wang and Jason Forbes, who he met in Footlights. In 2015, their first show at the Edinburgh Fringe, Daphne Do Edinburgh, was nominated for a "Best Newcomer" award. [8] [9] [10]
As a voice actor, Fouracres has voiced characters on radio shows such as The Lenny Henry Show, The Now Show , Newsjack , and Ross Noble’s Britain in Bits, as well as Daphne's radio series Daphne Sounds Expensive in 2016. [11] [12] He voiced Prince Harry amongst other characters on the revived Spitting Image series in 2020. [11] As a television actor, he has appeared on shows including Raised by Wolves (2016), Drunk History (2017), and Murder, They Hope (2021). [13]
In 2022, he hosted his own radio special, Black Country Gentlemon, which spoke about his upbringing in Wolverhampton. [2]
In 2025, Fouracres toured the UK with his One Man Musical Show, about Andrew Lloyd Webber, in which musical duo Flo & Jean supported him. [14] [15] [16] [17] The show was also performed at the that years Edinburgh Fringe and at the Soho Theatre. [14] One Man Musical received a four out of five stars rating from The Guardian. [18]
On 4 February 2026, Fouracres was announced as one of eleven cast members set to be on the first series of Saturday Night Live UK . [19] [20]
