Wycliffe College is an evangelical graduate school of theology at the University of Toronto. Founded in 1877 as an evangelical seminary in the Anglican tradition, Wycliffe College today attracts students from many Christian denominations from around the world. As a founding member of the Toronto School of Theology, students can avail themselves of the wide range of courses from Canada's largest ecumenical consortium. Wycliffe College trains those pursuing ministry in the church and in the world, as well as those preparing for academic careers of scholarship and teaching.
The Diocese of Toronto is an administrative division of the Anglican Church of Canada covering the central part of southern Ontario. It was founded in 1839 and is the oldest of the seven dioceses comprising the Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario. It has the most members of any Anglican diocese in Canada. It is also one of the biggest Anglican dioceses in the Americas in terms of numbers of parishioners, clergy and parishes. As of 2018, the diocese has around 230 congregations and ministries in 183 parishes, with approximately 54,000 Anglicans identified on parish rolls.
Thomas Christopher Collins is a Canadian cardinal of the Catholic Church. He has been the Archbishop of Toronto since 2007. He was previously Bishop of Saint Paul in Alberta from 1997 to 1999 and Archbishop of Edmonton from 1999 to 2006. Pope Benedict XVI made him a cardinal on 18 February 2012.

Hedley Vicars Roycraft Short was an Anglican bishop in the last third of the 20th century. He was educated at the University of Toronto and ordained in 1944. He held curacies at St Michael's Toronto and then Coventry Cathedral. Returning to Canada he was a lecturer at Trinity College, Toronto, and for a while its Acting Dean. After incumbencies at Cochrane and St. Catharines he became Rector of Prince Albert and Dean of Saskatchewan in 1963. From 1966 he was also Archdeacon of the area. In 1970 he became Bishop of Saskatchewan, serving for 11 years.

Rev. Lloyd Douglas Brown was born December 10, 1907, in Waterford, Ontario, Canada into the home of a Baptist minister, to the daughter of a Baptist minister, James Beach Moore who was the son of a Quaker. He is notable for having migrated theologically from a conservative Baptist tradition to Anglicanism to Roman Catholicism, and within that tradition distinguishing himself as a servant of the people even to the point of administering free dental care in the basement of his church. He died May 29, 1964, while serving in Cayuga, Ontario, Canada.
