The Georgetown Subdivision is a railroad line owned by CSX Transportation in the U.S. State of South Carolina. The line runs from Georgetown, South Carolina, to Andrews, South Carolina, for a total of 15.0 miles. At its north end the track continues south from the Andrews Subdivision and at its south end the track comes to an end. [1] [2]

It was formerly part of the CSX Huntington West Division. It became part of the CSX Florence Division on June 20, 2016. The line was originally owned by Clinchfield Railroad and runs from Erwin, Tennessee, to Spartanburg, South Carolina, for a total of 138.6 miles (223.1 km). At its north end it continues south from the Erwin Terminal Subdivision and at its south end it branches off onto the Belton Subdivision and the Spartanburg Subdivision.

Charleston Subdivision

The Charleston Subdivision is a railroad territory owned by CSX Transportation in the U.S. states of South Carolina and Georgia. The line from Florence, South Carolina, to Savannah, Georgia, for a total of 195.8 miles. At its north end it continues south from the South End Subdivision and at its south end it continues south as the Savannah Subdivision of the Jacksonville Division.

The Eastover Subdivision is a railroad line owned by CSX Transportation in the U.S. State of South Carolina. The line runs from Sumter, South Carolina, to Columbia, South Carolina, for a total of 42.4 miles (68.2 km). There is also a main track spur just north of Eastover to Dominion Energy's Wateree power plant. At the Eastover Subs north end it continues eastward on the Lane Subdivision and at its south end it continues west as the Columbia Subdivision.

The Hamlet Terminal Subdivision is a railroad line owned by CSX Transportation in North Carolina. The Hamlet Terminal Subdivision is composed of three lines, all of which originate in Marston and terminate in Hamlet.

North End Subdivision

The North End Subdivision is a railroad line owned by CSX Transportation in Virginia and North Carolina. The line runs from Richmond, Virginia, to Rocky Mount, North Carolina, for a total of 123.2 miles. At its north end the line continues south from the Richmond Terminal Subdivision and at its south end the line continues south as the South End Subdivision. The North End Subdivision is the northernmost segment of CSX's A Line which in its entirety runs from Richmond to Tampa, Florida. Some of the line's notable features include running in the median of Interstate 195 in Richmond as well as the line's tall arch bridge over the James River.

The Norlina Subdivision is a railroad line owned by CSX Transportation in the U.S. State of North Carolina. The line currently runs from Norlina, North Carolina to Raleigh, North Carolina for a total of 51.2 miles. At its north end the line comes to an end and at its south end the line continues north from the Aberdeen Subdivision. While the current line dates back to 1840, it has been known as the Norlina Subdivision since the 1970s. Under CSX's predecessor, the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad, the Norlina Subdivision continued north to Collier Yard near Petersburg, Virginia.

The line runs from Sumter, South Carolina, to Cope, South Carolina along the former Manchester and Augusta Railroad line, for a total of 53.8 miles. At its north end the line continues south from the Eastover Subdivision and at its south end the line continues south into the SCE&G Power Plant Trackage.

The line currently runs from Portsmouth, Virginia, to Garysburg, North Carolina on the Roanoke River, a distance of 75.8 miles. At Garysburg, the line connects to CSX's A Line. The Portsmouth Subdivision previously crossed the Roanoke River and continued west to Norlina, North Carolina under CSX predecessor, the Seaboard Air Line Railroad.

The South End Subdivision is a railroad line owned by CSX Transportation in the U.S. states of North Carolina and South Carolina. At its north end the line continues south from the North End Subdivision and at its south end the line continues south as the Charleston Subdivision. The South End Subdivision is a part of CSX's A Line, one of their mainline which ultimately extends from Richmond, Virginia to Tampa, Florida.

It runs from East Junction in Hamlet, North Carolina southeast to the port city of Wilmington, North Carolina, distance of nearly 100 miles.The west end the line connects with the Hamlet Terminal Subdivision and the Andrews Subdivision.

The W&W Subdivision is a railroad line owned by CSX Transportation in the U.S. state of North Carolina. The line runs from just south of Wilson, North Carolina, to Wallace, North Carolina, for a total of 69.1 miles. At its north end the line connects to CSX's A Line. The line's name stands for the Wilmington and Weldon Railroad, the company that originally built the line.
