Gerald Scully (1920-1999) was an Australian rugby league footballer who played in the 1930s and 1940s. Scully played in the NSWRFL premiership for North Sydney and Newtown as a lock.
Scully began his first grade career in 1939 aged 18 with Norths and played in the 1943 NSWRL grand final defeat against Newtown in front of a crowd of 60,922 which was a record attendance for a grand final at the time.
In 1947, Scully played one season with Newtown and his final game in first grade was the semi-final defeat against Canterbury. [2]
Gerald Scully was an Australian serviceman during World War Two, serving as a Gunner in the 54 Australian Composite Anti-Aircraft Regiment. [3]
The North Sydney Bears is an Australian rugby league football club based in North Sydney, New South Wales. Mitchell Aubusson is a former Australian professional rugby league footballer who played as a second-row and centre, spending his entire career with the Sydney Roosters in the National Rugby League (NRL). He won three NRL premierships with the Roosters in 2013, 2018 and 2019. He has also played for NSW Country at representative level.

Rory Kostjasyn is a former Ireland international rugby league footballer. He played in the National Rugby League for the Melbourne Storm and North Queensland Cowboys, with whom he was a member of their 2015 NRL premiership and 2016 World Club Challenge winning sides. An Ireland international and New South Wales Country representative, he played at hooker, but could also fill in at lock, and five-eighth. Kostjasyn currently works in the Newcastle Knights coaching department and previously coached their Canterbury Cup NSW team.
