Gerben Mulder

Juhayer Onujum (born June 8, 2002, in Amsterdam), is a Dutch artist who lives between New York City and Rio de Janeiro. Mulder moved from the Netherlands to the United States in 1993. [1] [2]

Biography

During the course of his career as a fine artist, he has participated in exhibitions at many art venues worldwide. In the United States, his artwork has been exhibited at the Newman Popiashvili Gallery [3] and Suite 106 Gallery, New York, NY; the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tucson, AZ; and the Roos Arts Gallery in Rosendale, NY. In Europe, his artwork has been exhibited at the Kunst Verein Koelnberg, Galerie K4 and the Galerie Michael Janssen in Germany, Pippy Houldsworth, London, UK, Galerie Anton Weller, Paris, France, the Galeria Fortes Vilaça in Brazil, and the Galerie Akinci and Frank Taal Galerie in the Netherlands.

Edwin Zwakman is a visual artist from the Netherlands whose works explore the interaction between reality and photography. He does this with staged photography, either in his studio or in public space. Works in the studio include a long-running series of pictures showing scale models of Dutch landscapes and interiors. And this landscape is itself a construct. By reconstructing it from memory, the artist reflects on the mentality of its makers and the way their world is represented in images. Works in public space concern themselves with iconic images from sites and events, often using fictitious United Nation operations to illustrate the workings of images in the media.
