Getuli Amnaay Bayo (born June 27, 1980) is a Tanzanian marathon runner. [1] He set his personal best time of 2:10:45, by finishing third at the 2005 Zurich Marathon. [2] He is also the brother of Zebedayo Bayo, who competed for the same event at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, and at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.

At age twenty-eight, Bayo made his official debut for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he competed in the men's marathon, along with his compatriot Samson Ramadhani. He did not finish the entire race, before reaching the halfway mark of the course. [3]

Rwanda competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, which was held from 27 July to 12 August 2012. The country's participation at London marked its eighth appearance in the Summer Olympics since its début at the 1984 Summer Olympics. The delegation included seven competitors which included three track and field athletes; Robert Kajuga, Jean Pierre Mvuyekure and Claudette Mukasakindi. The other people that represented the country were cross-country cyclist Adrien Niyonshuti, judoka Fred Yannick Uwase, swimmers Jackson Niyomugabo and Alphonsine Agahozo. The track and field athletes qualified for the Games by meeting qualification standards while the remaining four made the Olympics through wildcard places. Niyonshuti was the flag bearer for both the opening and closing ceremonies. No athletes were able to achieve medals at the London Olympic Games.

Lesotho competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, which was held from 27 July to 12 August 2012. The country's participation at London marked its tenth appearance in the Summer Olympics since its début at the 1972 Summer Olympics. Arthur Vincent Roth was an American long-distance runner who won the 1916 Boston Marathon and competed in the men's marathon at the 1920 Summer Olympics.

Al Mustafa Riyadh is a Bahraini marathon runner of Moroccan origin. Andrej Aliaksandravič Hardziejeǔ is a Belarusian marathon runner. He achieved his personal best time of 2:11:44 by winning the gold medal at the 2001 Hannover Marathon.

Alfredo Arévalo Reyes is a Guatemalan marathon runner. In 2004, he achieved both his personal best and a national record-breaking time of 2:12:53 at the National Capital Marathon in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Roman Kejžar is a Slovenian long-distance and marathon runner. He is a three-time Olympian, and a 2004 national marathon champion. He also set both a national record and a personal best time of 2:11:50 at the 2000 Turin Marathon, earning him a spot on the Slovenian team for the Olympics.

Paulo Jorge Caetano Gomes is a Portuguese marathon runner. He set a personal best time of 2:12:51, by finishing third at the 2007 Volkswagen Marathon in Prague, Czech Republic.

Lee Myong-Seung is a South Korean marathon runner. He set a personal best time of 2:13:25, by finishing ninth at the 2010 Seoul International Marathon. In the same year, he achieved his best career result with a fourth-place finish at the Gyeongju International Marathon, clocking at 2:16:19.
