Geulhem is a rural village in the south-eastern Netherlands, part of the former Berg en Terblijt council, now Valkenburg aan de Geul council. It is situated between Houthem and Berg en Terblijt.
The name Geulhem was first mentioned in an act dating from 1360. The interpretation of the name is "hamlet on the river Geul". At the centre of Geulhem is its oldest building - the Geulhemmer watermill. This watermill existed before 1306. Geulhem is situated partially in a valley and partially on a hillside known as the Geulhemmerberg.
Next to the Geulhemer watermill, which is now in use as a cafe, one finds themself in the environs of an underground network of corridors under the "Geulhemmerberg" hill. In the past, parts of this network were used as cave dwellings due to marl excavation. Part of the cave dwellings were restored and can be viewed on a group tour. At the entrance of the Geulhemmercave there is a marlstone statue of a 'block breaker' - the craftsman who, in the past, excavated blocks of marlstone with the help of primitive tools.
In Geulhem there is also a romantic castle - Castle Geulzicht - which was built at the end of the nineteenth century and is now in use as a hotel. It was developed by the architect Henri Reek and commissioned by Zuyderhoudt; its design is in the English Neo-Gothic style.
Geulhem is a much loved holiday destination due its closeness to the sloped woods and the availability of many different hotels.

Valkenburg aan de Geul is a municipality situated in the southeastern Dutch province of Limburg. The name refers to the central town in the municipality, Valkenburg, and the small river Geul.

Today, several major tourist attractions are situated on or nearby Cauberg. The hill's fame is mainly due to the many cycling races and championships that were held here. The length of the climb is around 1200 m, with a maximum grade of 12%.
Enfeh, or Enfe, Anfeh, Anfe, is a town in the Koura district of the North Governorate of Lebanon at Latitude 34°21'0"N and Longitude 35°44'0"E. Castle Hill in the parish of Filleigh in North Devon, is an early Palladian country house situated 3 miles north-west of South Molton and 8 mi (13 km) south-east of Barnstaple. It was built in 1730 by Hugh Fortescue, 14th Baron Clinton (1696–1751), who was later created in 1751 1st Baron Fortescue and 1st Earl of Clinton, the son of Hugh Fortescue, lord of the manor of Filleigh, Weare Giffard, etc., whose family is earliest recorded as residing in the 12th century at the manor of Whympston in the parish of Modbury in South Devon. The Fortescue family became major land owners, influential in British and West Country history. Castle Hill is a rare example in Devon of an 18th-century country mansion "on the grand scale".
Château St. Gerlach, formerly St. Gerlach Monastery or Sint-Gerlachusstift, is located in the church village of Houthem in Valkenburg aan de Geul in the valley of the Geul river, in the province of Limburg, Netherlands. It was originally built in the twelfth century as a monastery of canons and functioned from the fourteenth century as noble ladies convent. In the nineteenth century, the monastery was converted into a castle-like country house. It includes a rectangular main building, a coach house and a castle farm. Since 1997, the complex at Joseph Corneli Allee has been a luxurious hotel, restaurant and conference center established. The building complex, including the Sint-Gerlachus Church and the surrounding gardens, includes several national monuments and is part of the Buitengoed Geul & Maas.
Schaloen Castle is a castle in Oud-Valkenburg in the South Limburg municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul in The Netherlands. The castle is a national monument. Together with the Johannes de Doperkerk and Genhoes, it is part of the protected face of Oud Valkenburg. It is also part of the Buitengoed Geul & Maas.
