Ghulam Muhammad is a Pakistani politician who has been a member of the Gilgit Baltistan Assembly since November 2020.
Muhammad contested the 2020 Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly election on 15 November 2020 from GBA-21 (Ghizer-III) on the ticket from Pakistan Muslim League (N). He won the election by the margin of 904 votes over the runner up Muhammad Ayub Shah of Pakistan Peoples Party. He garnered 4,334 votes while Shah received 3,430 votes. [1]
Syed Mehdi Shah is a Pakistani politician who is currently serving as the 8th Governor of Gilgit-Baltistan since 15 August 2022. Previously,he served as the first Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan from 2009 to 2014. He has also served as the President of Gilgit-Baltistan chapter of the Pakistan People's Party.
