The Filmfare Best Director Award is one of the main awards presented given by the annual Filmfare Awards to recognise directors working in the Hindi film Industry. It was first presented in 1954 in the inaugural year.
Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy is an Indian musical trio consisting of Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa. They have composed music for over 50 soundtracks across five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi and English. Shilpa Rao is an Indian singer, born and raised in Jamshedpur. She completed her Master's in Applied Statistics from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai, before working as a jingle singer for three years. During her college days, Mithoon offered her to record the song "Javeda Zindagi" from Anwar (2007), making her Bollywood career debut.
Neeti Mohan is an Indian singer. She sings mainly in Hindi films, but has also done songs in Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Punjabi, and English. Born in Delhi, she was one of the winners of the Channel V's reality show Popstars, subsequently being chosen for Aasma, with other winners of the show. She rose to prominence after recording "Ishq Wala Love" from Student of the Year (2012), ultimately winning the Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent and was nominated for the Best Female Playback Singer for "Jiya Re" from Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012).
Darshan Doshi is an Indian drummer and composer, who is currently touring with Salim-Sulaiman, Farhan Akhtar, Adnan Sami, Diljit Dosanjh and Amit Trivedi. He has played drums for several Bollywood films such as Rock On, Black, Dhoom 2, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Queen, Secret Superstar, Fitoor, and Dear Zindagi.
Arijit Singh is an Indian singer and music composer. He sings predominantly in Hindi and Bengali but has also performed in various other Indian languages. He is the recipient of a National Award and a record six Filmfare Awards. He is also known as "King of playback singing".
The Producers Guild Film Awards for Best Music Director is given by the producers of the film and television guild as part of its annual award ceremony to recognise the best Indian film of the year. Following its inception in 2004, no one was awarded in 2005 and 2007.
Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is the soundtrack album, by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, to the 2013 Hindi film of the same name, directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra that stars Farhan Akhtar and Sonam Kapoor in the lead roles. The album features eight tracks, and was released digitally on 14 June 2013.
Thomson Andrews is a multi-lingual Indian playback singer, performer, songwriter, dancer, and actor. He is currently featured on the Amazon Prime original music show The Remix as one of the newer contemporary Indian playback singers and a live performer. Thomson has been certified by Trinity College of Music, London as a performing vocalist. He trained briefly in Hindustani classical singing at the Gwalior gharana.
Aashiqui 2 is the soundtrack to the 2013 Bollywood romance film of the same name, directed by Mohit Suri and starring Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles. The album was produced by Bhushan Kumar and Mahesh Bhatt under the banner T-Series and Vishesh Films. The enormous success of multi composer setup has been followed in many films.
