Vouliagmeni is a seaside suburb and former municipality 20 km south of Athens city centre. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 5.805 km2. Its population was 4,332 at the 2021 census. In 1993 and again in 2009, it hosted the annual meeting of the Bilderberg Group. The suburb is named after Lake Vouliagmeni, located in its vicinity. It is one of the most prestigious Athenian suburbs, home to renowned hotels and beaches. The area has some of the highest real estate prices in the Balkans.
Alimos is a town on the Saronic Gulf coast, a suburb of the Athens agglomeration, and a municipality in South Athens regional unit, Greece. It was formed in 1968 comprising two settlements, the suburban seaside town of Kalamaki, and the inland community of Trachones. Alimos had 43,174 inhabitants in the 2021 census.
Panionios G.S.S. Football Club, the Pan-Ionian Gymnastics Club of Smyrna, more commonly known as Panionios F.C. or simply Panionios, is a Greek football club based in Nea Smyrni, a suburban town in the Athens agglomeration, Greece. Part of Panionios G.S.S., Panionios F.C. is the oldest Greek football club.
Nea Smyrni Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Nea Smyrni, Greece. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Panionios, which plays for the Gamma Ethniki. The all seated stadium holds 11,700 spectators and was built in 1939. Before full seating was installed in 1998 for the participation of Panionios in the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup its capacity was close to 19,000. The stadium is eligible to host UEFA Europa League matches and its football pitch dimensions are about average at 105x72m.
Ethnikos Piraeus F.C. is a Greek football club based in Piraeus and its parent sports club is Ethnikos OFPF. The club was officially formed on 21 November 1923 as KeravnosPiraeus, but existed unofficially since 1922. One year later the club was renamed to Young Boys Titan, after some players' secession that formed Peiraikos Podosfairikos Omilos. The club was renamed to Ethnikos on 23 December 1924, after it merged with Peiraikos Podosfairikos Omilos.
Panionios G.S.S., the Pan-Ionian Gymnastics Club of Smyrna, is a Greek multi-sport club founded in 1890. Originally based in Smyrna/Izmir, the club was uprooted in the population exchange between Greece and Turkey following the Asia Minor Catastrophe in 1922. It is now based in the suburban town of Nea Smyrni, located in the Attica, and where many of the refugees from Smyrna settled.

Faidon Matthaiou, was a Greek professional basketball player and coach. He was a center at the start of his career, and at the end of his career, he also played as a point guard. He wore the number 1 jersey throughout his career. He represented Greece twice at the Summer Olympic Games. As a rower at the 1948 Summer Olympics, and as a basketball player at the 1952 Summer Olympics.

NO Vouliagmeni or "NOV" is a major aquatic sports club, founded by local sportsmen in 1937 in the seaside resort of Vouliagmeni, Athens, Greece. The club is located on the eastern edge of the Mikro Kavouri peninsula, adjacent to the Astir Palace Hotel and overlooking the bay, town and lake of Vouliagmeni.

The Greek women's Basketball League, also known as A1 Ethniki Women's Basketball is the most important competition of Greek women's professional basketball. It is organised by the EOK. It began with the 1967–68 season. The first championship of the league, which was held in the 1967–68 season, was organised by ΕΟΑΠ. Two years later, the EOK assumed control of the competition.
The 2014–15 A1 Ethniki is the 84th season of the Greek premier Water polo league and the 29th of A1 Ethniki. The winner of the league was Olympiacos, which beat Panathinaikos in the league's playoff's finals. It was the first final of the eternal enemies in Water Polo Championship. The clubs Panionios and Nireas Lamias were relegated to the Greek A2 League.
Panionios Volleyball Club is the volleyball department of the Greek multisport club of Panionios, based in Nea Smirni. It is one of the oldest sport sections of the club with presence since early 20th century. The colours of the club are red and blue and its home arena is the Panionios Indoor Hall.
The 2015–16 A1 Ethniki is the 85th season of the Greek premier Water polo league and the 30th of A1 Ethniki.
Giorgos Katsoulis was a Greek water polo player and the assistant coach of Olympiacos Women's Water Polo Team, since 2016.
