Giovanni Trapattoni, sometimes popularly known as 'Trap' or 'Il Trap', is an Italian football manager and former player, considered the most successful club coach of Italian football. A former defensive midfielder, as a player he spent almost his entire club career with AC Milan, where he won two Serie A league titles, and two European Cups, in 1962–63 and 1968–69. Internationally, he played for Italy, earning 17 caps and being part of the squad at the 1962 FIFA World Cup in Chile.

He is most notable for playing saxophone in Billy Joel's band alongside Liberty DeVitto, Russell Javors, and Doug Stegmeyer. After leaving the band in 1981, he opened Cove City Sound Studios in Glen Cove, New York. Artists including Celine Dion, Billy Joel, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have recorded in Cannata's studio. Cannata also worked with The Beach Boys for most of the 1990's, touring and occasionally recording with them during this period.

Jasper Wrath was a progressive rock band from New Haven, Connecticut, that was active throughout the 1970s. They were founded by Jeff Cannata, who would later go on to form the 1980s band Arc Angel. He was the drummer for the group, however he also sang, played woodwinds, and wrote a majority of the songs on their 1971 self-titled debut album. The band retained a local following and continued touring until they disbanded in 1976.

The 2017 SEC women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the SEC. The Florida Gators were the defending champions, but they were eliminated from the 2017 tournament with a 2–1 overtime loss to the Texas A&M Aggies in the semifinals. Texas A&M won the tournament title with a 2–1 win over the Arkansas Razorbacks in the final.
