In September 2025, principal photography began in London, when it was announced that Rebel Wilson would be directing, writing, co-producing, and starring in a new comedy film titled Girl Group. Randall Park and Sheridan Smith joined the cast. [1] In October, Jennifer Coolidge, Nicole Scherzinger, Jamie-Lee O'Donnell, Guz Khan, Jolene Blalock, Ashley Roberts, Melanie Chisholm, Shaznay Lewis, and Loren Gray rounded out the cast. [2]
