Gisle Saga (born May 9, 1974) had two major hits on the Norwegian chart VG-lista with the band El More. "Everybody" reached no 9 and "Close to you" reached no 2. "Close to you" was the official Norwegian Big Brother theme of the 2002 season.

"Cool" is a song by American singer Gwen Stefani from her debut solo studio album Love. Angel. Music. Baby. (2004). Written by Stefani and Dallas Austin, the song was released as the fourth single from L.A.M.B. on July 5, 2005, by Interscope Records. It was written by Austin basing the song on No Doubt's 2000 single "Simple Kind of Life", but he did not finish it. He then asked for help from Stefani and they finished the song in 15 minutes. The song's musical style and production were inspired by synth-pop and new wave arrangements from the 1980s, and its lyrics chronicle a relationship in which two lovers have separated, but remain "cool" with each other as good friends.
Susanne Aartun Sundfør is a Norwegian singer-songwriter and record producer. Born and raised in Haugesund, Sundfør embarked on her musical career two years prior to the release of her eponymous debut album (2007), which reached number three on the Norwegian album chart. It was followed by Take One, a live album consisting of songs from her debut. Her second studio album, The Brothel, was released in 2010 to commercial success in Norway, peaking at number one and becoming the best-selling album of that year. Gisle Oddvar Fenne is a former Norwegian biathlete. His best-known international achievement was the silver medal in the 20 km individual in the World Championships 1989 in Feistritz an der Drau. He succeeded in many duels with teammate Eirik Kvalfoss. He was among the top Norwegian biathletes from the mid-1980s until the mid-1990s, and became twice the Norwegian champion in the 20 km individual. He is the father of biathlete Hilde Fenne.
