Giuseppe Angeli (Venice 1709- Venice, 1798) was an Italian painter of the late-Baroque, known for depicting both genre and religious subjects.
He trained in the studio of Giambattista Piazzetta. By 1741, he was enrolled in the guild of painters. In 1756, he began as an instructor at the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice; in 1772, he became president of the Academy.
He is known for two canvases in the church of San Stae and for fresco murals at the Villa Widmann-Foscari at Mira, near Padua. His other works include an Immaculate Conception with Saints (ca. 1760) moved to sacristy of San Francesco della Vigna; two scenes of the Via Crucis for the church of Santa Maria Zobenigo; the altarpiece of St Pietro I Orseolo receives the monk's habit from St Romuald in the church of Santa Maria della Pietà; an Immaculate Conception with Saints in the basilica of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari; an Ecstasy of St Francis in the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Pilastrello at Lendinara; an Apparition of the Virgin to St Simon Stock at the church of Santa Maria Maddalena; the frescoes in the salone of Villa Giovanelli Colonna at Noventa Padovana, a ceiling in the Scuola Grande di San Giovanni Evangelista, and in the Palazzo Barbaro-Curtis in Venice; and a painting of a Soldato con tamburo in the Louvre. Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, also known as GiambattistaTiepolo, was an Italian painter and printmaker from the Republic of Venice who painted in the Rococo style, considered an important member of the 18th-century Venetian school. He was prolific, and worked not only in Italy, but also in Germany and Spain.
Lorenzo Lotto was an Italian painter, draughtsman, and illustrator, traditionally placed in the Venetian school, though much of his career was spent in other north Italian cities. He painted mainly altarpieces, religious subjects and portraits. He was active during the High Renaissance and the first half of the Mannerist period, but his work maintained a generally similar High Renaissance style throughout his career, although his nervous and eccentric posings and distortions represented a transitional stage to the Florentine and Roman Mannerists.

Ca' Rezzonico is a palazzo and art museum on the Grand Canal in the Dorsoduro sestiere of Venice, Italy. It is a particularly notable example of the 18th century Venetian baroque and rococo architecture and interior decoration, and displays paintings by the leading Venetian painters of the period, including Francesco Guardi and Giambattista Tiepolo. It is a public museum dedicated to 18th-century Venice and one of the 11 venues managed by the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia.
Bernardino Luini was a north Italian painter from Leonardo's circle during the High Renaissance. Both Luini and Giovanni Antonio Boltraffio were said to have worked with Leonardo directly; he was described as having taken "as much from Leonardo as his native roots enabled him to comprehend". Consequently, many of his works were attributed to Leonardo. He was known especially for his graceful female figures with elongated eyes, called Luinesque by Vladimir Nabokov.

San Francesco della Vigna is a Roman Catholic church in the Sestiere of Castello in Venice, northern Italy.
Astolfo Petrazzi (1583–1665) was an Italian painter of the Baroque period, active mainly in his hometown of Siena, but also Spoleto and Rome. He was a pupil of mainly Francesco Vanni, but also worked under Ventura Salimbeni and Pietro Sorri. He died in Siena.
Antonio Paglia was an Italian painter active mainly in Brescia in a late-Baroque or Rococo style. He was the son of the Baroque painter Francesco Paglia. He collaborated with his brother Angelo. He apparently traveled after 1714 to Venice to apprentice with Sebastiano Ricci. By 1718, he had returned to Brescia, where he specialized in painting altarpieces and religious frescos. Among his main works is a large decorative cycle for the parish church of Chiari.
Francesco Podesti was an Italian painter, active in a Romantic style. Together with Francesco Hayez and Giuseppe Bezzuoli, he is considered one of the greatest Italian painters of the first half of the 19th century. He was prolific in his large canvases on historical subjects. He is best known for his fresco work, including those in the Hall of the Immacolata in the Vatican Museum.
