Give Me My Remote or GMMR is a website devoted to entertainment news. It was founded by Kath Skerry in 2005 "as a way to share her thoughts on her favorite shows with fellow TV fans." [2] It is now run by owner/managing editor Marisa Roffman. [2] It is based in Los Angeles, California. [2]

Give Me My Remote has interacted with the American television series Chuck on many occasions. In 2009, the website was credited with leading an effort to get the series renewed for a third season. Give Me My Remote temporarily renamed itself as Give Me My Chuck as part of the campaign. [3] In 2011, they interviewed Chuck creator Chris Fedak about the possibility of its fifth season renewal. [4]

Chuck is an American action-comedy/spy-drama television series created by Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak. The series is about an "average computer-whiz-next-door" named Chuck Bartowski, played by Zachary Levi, who receives an encoded e-mail from an old college friend now working for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). The message embeds the only remaining copy of a software program containing the United States' greatest spy secrets into Chuck's brain, leading the CIA and the NSA to assign him handlers and use him on top-secret missions. Produced by College Hill Pictures, Fake Empire Productions, Wonderland Sound and Vision, and Warner Bros. Television, the series premiered on September 24, 2007, on NBC, airing on Monday nights at 8:00 p.m./7:00 p.m. Central.

My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is a Canadian-American children's animated fantasy television series created by Lauren Faust for Hasbro. The series premiered on October 10, 2010, on The Hub cable channel. Hasbro selected animator Lauren Faust as the creative director and executive producer for the show. Faust sought to challenge the established nature of the existing My Little Pony line, creating more in-depth characters and adventurous settings; she left the series during season 2, to be replaced by Meghan McCarthy as showrunner for the remainder of the series.
