Glen McPherson No. 46 is a rural municipality in southwestern Saskatchewan, Canada. It provides local road maintenance, policing, and fire protection for its residents, overseen by an elected council and reeve. With the 2016 census recording a population of just 72, Glen McPherson is the least-populated rural municipality in Western Canada. The RM maintains its office in the village of Mankota, its nearest urban center.

Wood River is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, Canada. Located in southern Saskatchewan, the district was created by the Representation Act, 1994 (Saskatchewan) out of the former constituency of Assiniboia-Gravelbourg and half of the Shaunavon district. The district takes its name from the R.M. of Wood River, which is located in the centre of the constituency.

In recent years, the growth of unincorporated resort communities along Last Mountain Lake has shifted the traditional population balance of the RM, causing a rare and contentious reapportionment of electoral wards.
