Matthew Lawrence Hayden is an Australian cricket commentator and former cricketer. His career spanned fifteen years. Hayden was a powerful and aggressive left-handed opening batsman who,along with opening partners Justin Langer and Adam Gilchrist,contributed heavily to Australia's success during its "golden era" (2000-2008) in Test and ODI cricket respectively. He holds the record of highest individual score by an Australian batsman in Tests,having scored 380 against Zimbabwe during Zimbabwe's 2003 tour of Australia. This stands as the second-highest individual score in test cricket. It is the highest score by an opening batsman in Tests,though infamously he never faced the opening ball in Tests with Langer,always batting at No2. After retiring from representative cricket in Australia,he continued playing for Durham County Cricket Club till July 2012,when he announced retirement from County Cricket. He has also previously played cricket in England for Derbyshire and Sussex. A left hand opening batsman,his form for Tasmania throughout the mid-1990s earned him a call up for the Australian national cricket team in the One Day International arena,although after nine games he was dropped. Like some of his contemporary Tasmanian teammates such as Jamie Cox,Dene Hills,and Shaun Young,Di Venuto can be considered unlucky to have not had a more successful international career,as he was playing at a time when the Australian national cricket team was highly dominant,and difficult to earn selection for. After retiring from Durham,he was appointed Australia's full-time batting coach by head coach Mickey Arthur,and was then head coach of Surrey from 2016 until 2020.

Benjamin William Hilfenhaus is an Australian former professional cricketer who played for Tasmania in Australian domestic cricket and for the Australia national cricket team. He is right-arm fast-medium bowler known for his ability to swing the ball. Hilfenhaus plays club cricket for Tasmania University Cricket Club. He made his first-class cricket debut in the 2005/06 season and his haul of 39 wickets was a record for someone playing their first season for Tasmania. Before he was given a full-time contract for 2006/07,he worked as a bricklayer as well as playing cricket. He has best bowling figures of 7/58 in first-class cricket,achieved in his first season for Tasmania. During his time with Australia,Hilfenhaus won the 2009 ICC Champions Trophy.
Alexander James Doolan is an Australian former cricketer,who played domestic cricket for Tasmania from 2009 to 2021 and played four Test matches for Australia in 2014. Despite almost scoring a century on debut,Doolan was dropped after his fourth match and never returned to the national team. He retired from cricket in 2021. As of December 2022,Doolan is the eighth-highest Sheffield Shield run-scorer of all-time for Tasmania.
Phillip Joel Hughes was an Australian Test and One Day International (ODI) cricketer who played domestic cricket for South Australia and Worcestershire. He was a left-handed opening batsman who played for two seasons with New South Wales before making his Test debut in 2009 at the age of 20. He made his One Day International Debut in 2013.
