Rilwanu Lukman was a Nigerian engineer who held several ministerial positions in the Nigerian Federal government before becoming Secretary General of OPEC from 1 January 1995 to 31 December 2000. He died on 21 July 2014. On 18 December 2008,Lukman was appointed Minister of Petroleum Resources by Nigerian president Umaru Yar'Adua,holding office until March 2010.

He had previously served as governor of oil-rich Rivers State,from 2007 to 2015 and earlier,as speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly from 1999 to 2007. He polled second position in the APC presidential primaries held in June 2022 behind eventual president Bola Tinubu with 316 delegate votes against Tinubu's 1271 votes.
Shettima Mustafa was a Nigerian academic and politician. After an early career in medicine,local administration,and media,Mustafa studied agriculture at university,eventually earning a Doctor of Philosophy degree. He became a commissioner in Borno State and joined the Nigerian People's Party,becoming their vice-presidential candidate in 1983. He was jailed after the military coup of December 1983 led by Muhammadu Buhari. After his release in 1985 he taught agriculture at the University of Maiduguri and became head of the Jos region of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture. Mustafa served as Minister of Agriculture from 1990 to 1992,and in 2007 was appointed Minister of Defence in the cabinet of President Umaru Yar'Adua. In 2008 he became Minister of the Interior but left office with the 2010 dissolution of the cabinet.
Salaudeen Adebola Latinwo was a group captain in the Nigerian Air Force and a military governor of Kwara State,Nigeria,under Muhammadu Buhari's military government.
Bashir Salihi Magashi is a retired Nigerian Army major general who served as the defence minister of Nigeria from 2019 to 2023. He served as governor of Sokoto State from August 1990 to January 1992 during the military regime of General Ibrahim Babangida,and as commandant of the Nigerian Defence Academy from 1998 to 1999.
Audu Innocent Ogbeh;born 28 July 1947) is a Nigerian farmer,playwright and politician who served as the minister of agriculture and rural development from 2015 to 2019. He was chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from 2001 until January 2005. He served as the minister of communications in the Nigerian Second Republic from 1982 to 1983. He is known for his literary works,and has written five plays which include three published works. One of his plays,the Epitaph of Simon Kisulu was staged at Muson Center in 2002.

He was nominated for a ministerial appointment by former President Muhammadu Buhari and was later appointed as Minister of State,Mines and Steel Development on Wednesday,August 21,2019.
Adeola Rahman Ipaye is a Nigerian lawyer who served as the deputy chief of staff to the president of Nigeria from 2015 to 2023. He was also attorney general and commissioner for justice in Lagos State from 2011 to 2015.

Mu’azu Jaji Sambo FNIOB,MCORBON,MNIM,CON,is the former Minister of Transportation of the Federal Republic of Nigeria appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari on 6 July 2022. He was earlier appointed as the Minister of State for Works and Housing in 2021 before he was moved by the President to the Ministry of Transportation.
