Godfrey William Zaunbrecher (born December 17, 1946) is a former American football center who played three seasons with the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the eleventh round of the 1970 NFL Draft. He played college football at Louisiana State University and attended St. Michael's High School in Crowley, Louisiana. [1]

College career

Zaunbrecher played for the LSU Tigers from 1967 to 1969. [2] He started his final two seasons, earning Second-team All-SEC honors in 1968 and First-team All-SEC accolades in 1969. He was also named to the East–West Shrine Game his junior year and the Senior Bowl his senior season. [3]

Professional career

Zaunbrecher was selected by the Minnesota Vikings with the 286th pick in the 1970 NFL Draft and played for the team until 1973. [1]

Robert Chadwick Berry is a former American football player, a quarterback in the National Football League for twelve seasons. He was selected to one Pro Bowl in 1969 as a member of the Atlanta Falcons. Berry was a member of three Super Bowl teams with the Minnesota Vikings in the mid-1970s.

David Euell Roller is a former American football defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). Prior to his professional career, Roller played college football for the University of Kentucky, where he received multiple commendations for his athletic accomplishments, including induction into the Kentucky Athletic Hall of Fame. Roller was drafted by the New York Giants in the 13th round of the 1971 NFL Draft as the 330th overall pick. He played for the Giants for one season, before a brief stint playing in the World Football League. He returned to the NFL in 1975 with the Green Bay Packers, where he would go on to play for four seasons. He left Green Bay in 1979 to play for the Minnesota Vikings for two seasons before retiring from professional football. Patrick De'mon Peterson Jr. is an American football cornerback for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Louisiana State University (LSU), where he won the Chuck Bednarik Award as the best defensive player in the country, the Jim Thorpe Award as the best defensive back, and was unanimously recognized as an All-American. He was selected fifth overall by the Arizona Cardinals in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Peterson was named to the Pro Bowl in each of his first eight seasons in the NFL. In 2021, he signed with the Vikings as a free agent after 10 seasons with Arizona.
