Golam Mabud (born 10 October 1984) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He played in 79 first-class and 55 List A matches from 2001/02 to 2012/13. [1] [2] He was also part of the Dhaka Warriors' squad for the Indian Cricket League (ICL). [3] [4] After initially facing a ten-year ban by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for joining the ICL, [5] Mabud was one of thirteen players to end their relationship with the ICL in June 2009. Farhad Reza is a Bangladeshi cricketer who made his One Day International (ODI) debut against Zimbabwe in July 2006 and is the first batsman from Bangladesh to score a half century on ODI debut. He is a right-handed middle order batsman and right arm fast-medium pace bowler and played domestic cricket for Rajshahi Division from 2004 until 2008. Initially Reza was not being picked for the national side by the selectors and Bashar insisted during the tournament that he could have used him. Finally he came to the squad after the injury of Tapash Baisya during the Super Eight stage. Reza retired from international and domestic cricket in September 2008, aged 22, to play in the Indian Cricket League (ICL). He represents the Dhaka Warriors, a team in the ICL made up solely of Bangladeshi players.

The Indian Cricket League (ICL) was a private cricket league funded by Zee Entertainment Enterprises that operated between 2007 and 2009 in India. Its two seasons included tournaments between four international teams and nine domestic teams notionally located in major Indian cities as well as Lahore, Pakistan and Dhaka Warriors based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The matches were played in the Twenty20 format. There was also a planned domestic 50-over tournament, but this did not eventuate. While its establishment pre-dated the Indian Premier League, the ICL folded in 2009. Aside from commercial factors, the ICL lacked the support of the Board of Control for Cricket in India and International Cricket Council.

Mahmudullah Bangladeshi cricketer

Mahmudullah Riyad, often known simply as Mahmudullah, is a Bangladeshi cricketer and the current T20I captain. He has played First-class and List A cricket for Dhaka Division and has represented Bangladesh in all forms of the game. An all-rounder, he is a lower or middle-order batsman as well as an off spin bowler. He is prominent for his ability to finish a close limited over game. He is the first Bangladeshi to score a World Cup hundred when he scored a hundred against England in the 2015 Cricket World Cup.

Dhaka Warriors was one of the nine teams played in the 2008 competition of the defunct Indian Cricket League (ICL). The captain was former Bangladeshi captain and batsman Habibul Bashar. The Dhaka Warriors was solely composed of Bangladeshi players and was only the second team in the competition to be represented by players from a single country. The team was formed in 2008 by a group of Bangladeshis who severed links with the Bangladesh Cricket Board; of the 14 players who made up the first squad, 12 had represented Bangladesh at international level. The Dhaka Warrior players received bans.

Mahedi Hasan is a Bangladeshi cricketer who plays for Khulna Division and the Bangladesh cricket team.

Khaled Ahmed is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He made his Test cricket debut for the Bangladesh cricket team in November 2018.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman Zadran is an Afghan cricketer, who plays for the Afghanistan national cricket team. He was the first male to play international cricket who was born in the 21st century. Two months after his international debut, at the age of 16 years and 325 days, he became the youngest player to take a five-wicket haul in a One Day International match. He was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Afghanistan's first ever Test match, against India, in June 2018. It was also his first-class cricket debut. His uncle, Noor Ali Zadran, is also an Afghan international cricketer.

The West Indies cricket team toured Bangladesh in January and February 2021 to play two Tests and three One Day International (ODI) matches. The Test series formed part of the inaugural 2019–2021 ICC World Test Championship and the ODI series formed part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League.
