"Golden Leaves" is a song by Italian actress and singer Noemi Smorra featuring Lena Katina, a former member of the early 2000s music band, t.A.T.u. This Europop song was written by Fernando Alba and Kathleen Haghen. Smorra and Katina first premiered Golden Leaves during a gig at the Auditorium Parco della Musica of Rome in November, 2014 and single was released two months later.

Music video

The concept video for the song was directed by Livia Alcalde and Francesco Sperandeo and shot in Rome: young Lena introduces young Noemi to the magic world in an old Circus, and then they meet years later as grown up fairies. Golden Leaves fantasy music video received enthusiastic reviews [1] [2] and won several international awards, being screened [3] in TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood and in many other theaters in Europe [4] and USA. [5]

Golden Leaves was charted for 39 weeks and peaked #4 on the TOP20 in Russian state TV Channel One Russia, and ranked #16 in year-end video chart [6] of 2015.

t.A.T.u. was a Russian music duo that consisted of Lena Katina and Julia Volkova. The singers were part of children's music group Neposedy before being managed by producer and director Ivan Shapovalov and signing with Russian record label Neformat. t.A.T.u.'s debut album 200 Po Vstrechnoy (2001) was a commercial success in Eastern Europe that made the duo sign with Interscope Records to release its English-language counterpart, 200 km/h in the Wrong Lane (2002). The album was certified platinum by the IFPI for one million copies sold in Europe and became the first album by a foreign group to reach number one in Japan. It was also certified gold in the United States and included the international hits "All the Things She Said" and "Not Gonna Get Us". The duo represented Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 with the song "Ne Ver', Ne Boysia", finishing third.

Camerimage

The International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography Camerimage is a festival dedicated to the celebration of cinematography and recognition of its creators, cinematographers. The first seven events (1993–1999) were held in Toruń, Poland. The next ten events (2000–2009) were held in Łódź. Since 2010, the festival has taken place in Bydgoszcz. In 2007, the name of the festival was changed from Camerimage to Plus Camerimage but was changed back in 2013 after the sponsorship deal with Plus ended. At the end of November every year, Camerimage brings together professional cinematographers, students and other people associated with the film industry. Elena Sergeevna Katina, better known as Lena Katina, is a Russian singer and songwriter who is best known for her work with Russian duo t.A.T.u. She started her career at the age of eight, joining the Russian children's act Avenue, soon after that joining Neposedi. In 1999 producer Ivan Shapovalov chose Lena Katina for his project, t.A.T.u., as well as Julia Volkova. The duo would later become Russia's most successful pop music act. The group produced several hits including "All the Things She Said", "Not Gonna Get Us" and "All About Us". Their first single "All The Things She Said" peaked at number one in 19 countries including the UK, Russia and Australia.

Yulia Olegovna Volkova, better known by the alternative spelling of Julia, is a Russian singer best known for being a member of the Russian girl group t.A.T.u., along with Lena Katina. Formed in Moscow, Russia by Ivan Shapovalov in March 1999, the group signed a record deal with Universal Music Russia, and eventually Universal's sub-label Interscope Records in 2001.

"Never Forget" is the lead single by Russian singer-songwriter Lena Katina's debut solo studio album This Is Who I Am. The song was produced by Sven Martin and Erik Lidbom. It is a pop rock track, driven by electric guitars and keyboard. "Never Forget" had positive feedback, claiming number one in MTV Russia.

<i>The Debt</i> (2014 film)

The Debt is a short film produced and directed by Mahmoud Shoolizadeh, that has participated in several international film festivals and has won two awards. Although the film is based in the city of Jacksonville, Florida, it was filmed in St. Mary's, Georgia as well as in Jacksonville. This Is Who I Am is the debut studio album of the Russian singer-songwriter, Lena Katina, released on 18 November 2014. The album marks the beginning of Katina's solo career as she and her former bandmate, Julia Volkova announced the separation of their music group, t.A.T.u. on 2011. Katina has writing credits on all of the album's songs including those co-written with her husband, Sash Kuzma. Musically, the album is a pop genre with rock influences and lyrically it mostly speaks about discovering herself.
