The Golf-Drouot was a nightclub located in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. It began its life in 1955 as a tea room with a miniature golf course, hence its name, and in 1961 became a nightclub. With increased popularity the club hosted notable artists such as Free, David Bowie and The Who. The club closed in 1981. [1]

Wynn Las Vegas, often simply referred to as Wynn, is a luxury resort and casino located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, United States. It is owned and operated by Wynn Resorts, and was built on the former site of the Desert Inn resort, which opened in 1950. Casino developer Steve Wynn purchased and closed the Desert Inn during 2000, with plans to build a new resort on the site. The design phase lasted two and a half years, and construction began on October 31, 2002, with Marnell Corrao Associates as general contractor. At a cost of $2.7 billion, Wynn Las Vegas was the most expensive resort ever built, beating Wynn's $1.6 billion Bellagio, which opened on the Strip in 1998.

The Open de France is a European Tour golf tournament. Inaugurated in 1906 it is the oldest national open in Continental Europe and has been part of the European Tour's schedule since the tour's inception in 1972. The 100th edition of the event was held in 2016. The 2022 edition will take place between 22 and 25 September on the Golf National course. There will be €3 million of prize fund. Last edition played was the 2019 tournament, won by Nicolas Colsaerts.

The Boulonnais is the associated coast and hinterland of Boulogne-sur-Mer in Northern France. It includes the catchment of the town's river Liane, and other shorter small rivers that also flow west. It spans north to all of Cap Gris-Nez which has two coasts but not the bay of Wissant. It runs south 30 kilometres almost to Camiers, a village north of Le Touquet, a nonetheless low-rise, but estuarine conglomeration of housing and holiday parks, as the Boulonnais includes Dannes and its golf courses. It extends between 15 to 20 kilometres inland. It has a curved belt of chalk downs which meet the sea at both ends, the higher being Gris-Nez. It is a well-wooded zone almost entirely within the Caps et Marais d'Opale Regional Natural Park and is the east end of the Weald-Artois Anticline. Its coast all faces west to the English Channel, apart from a short north coast, including the small beach of Cap Gris-Nez which faces the Strait of Dover. It is the northernmost west-facing coast of France.
