Good Game: The Transition is the fourth solo studio album by American rapper Saafir. It was released on October 31, 2006 through ABB Records. Recording sessions took place at FM Recorders in Oakland, California. Production was handled by Josef Leimberg, DJ Impossible, Demo and Quazedelic, with Beni B and Saafir serving as executive producers. It features guest appearances from Lady, Amir Sulaiman, Michael Marshall, Mykytyn and Third Raill Vic. This album delves into deeper subject matter, but Saafir also maintains his usual style for which he is known.

Reggie Gibson, better known as Saafir, is an emcee, producer, and actor. He is also a member of the rap group "Golden State Project" with Ras Kass and Xzibit. Born in Oakland, California, he lived with Tupac Shakur and became a dancer for Digital Underground. Saafir took part in one of the most notorious Bay Area rap battles, when he and members of the Hobo Junction went against Casual and members of the Hieroglyphics Crew. The battle took place live on KMEL.

It was produced by Shock G, who produced it under the alias, The D-Flow Production Squad. AllMusic notes that in the song Shakur "brags about his sexual conquests". Though "Ghetto Fabulous" had a more commercial sound to it than his previous singles, it was not a commercial success, only making it to 56 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks.
