Gopi Kukde is a veteran of the Indian advertising industry. His most innovative and successful creations is the Onida Devil.
He is a Gold medalist from Sir J.J. Institute of Applied Art for his college campaign for the film Meera, by Gulzar. His career marked his association with leading ad agencies like Chaitra, Clarion and Everest, and JWT. In 1982, he founded the Advertising Avenues, with two others Gautam Rakshit and Ashok Roy. Campaigns he has contributed to include Asian Paints, Glaxo, Stanrose Fabrics, Centaur Hotel, and the Hawkins pressure cooker. At Avenues, he worked on UFO Jeans, Skypak Couriers, Paan Pasand and Onida"Neighbours envy owners pride". He has produced and directed ad-films for Avenues for various brands.
Apart from Art Direction, he has created catchy one-liners. His famous one-liners include the Pan Pasand one-liner, '’’Shaadi aur tumse kabhi nahin’’', '’’Chane ke bhaw kaaju’’' and the Onida Devil saying ‘’‘Neighbour’s Envy, Owner’s Pride.’’’[ citation needed ]
He has had a long association with the Mumbai based organization CAG - Communication Arts Guild of which he was also the President. He is today one of the committee members of that guild.
He stated in an interview with the Hindu group of publications, "My motto in life is if you don't understand something, don't do it. Do something you are good at and be happy."[ citation needed ] After 16 years of experience in different agencies, Kukde took a 10-year sabbatical [1] to work on what he enjoys the most - ceramics. He has a studio in Mumbai called Useless Ceramics.

William Bernbach was an American advertising creative director. He was one of the three founders in 1949 of the international advertising agency Doyle Dane Bernbach (DDB). Starting from a poor Italian background in Brooklyn, he eventually became chairman of Della Femina Travisano & Partners, an agency which he founded with Ron Travisano in the 1960s. Over the next two decades they grew the company into a major advertising house that was billing $250 million per year and had 300 employees and offices in both New York and Los Angeles. Della Femina is known for his larger-than-life personality and colorful language, and was referred to as a "'Madman' of Madison Avenue". In 1970, he wrote a book about the advertising industry, humorously titled, From Those Wonderful Folks Who Gave You Pearl Harbor: Front-Line Dispatches from the Advertising War. The book became a best-seller, described by The Guardian as "one of the defining books about advertising", and eventually inspired the television series Mad Men.

She was the first female CEO of a company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Bob Giraldi is an American film and television director, educator, and restaurateur. He is known for directing the film Dinner Rush (2000) and the music video for Michael Jackson's "Beat It" (1983). Giraldi has been inducted into the Art Director's Hall of Fame, one of the few film directors to be honored; and, in 2014, was the first director ever to be inducted to the Advertising Hall of Fame. His work has garnered several London International Awards, Cannes Advertising Awards, NY International Awards, Addy Awards, Chicago Film Festival Awards, and dozens of Clio Awards. He has been named one of the 101 Stars Behind 100 Years of Advertising.
David Franklin Kennedy was an American advertising executive who co-founded Wieden+Kennedy (W+K). Some of his most popular campaigns included the "Just Do It", "Bo Knows", and the "Mars and Mike" campaigns for Nike, Inc. He and his creative partner Dan Wieden were listed as number 22 on the Advertising Age 100 ad people of the 20th century.
Onida Electronics is an Indian multinational electronics and home appliances manufacturing company, based in Mumbai. Onida became well known in India for its colour CRT televisions and smart TVs. Other appliances manufactured by the company include flat panel TVs, air conditioners, washing machines, microwave ovens, DVD home theatre systems, mobile phones, projector systems and LED lights.
George Lois was an American art director, designer, and author. Lois was perhaps best known for over 92 covers he designed for Esquire magazine from 1962 to 1973.

Allen Steven Kay was an American advertising executive and businessman. He created a television advertisement for Xerox that aired during the 1976 Super Bowl, featuring a monk called Dominic Kay is also known for his "See Something Say Something" advertising campaign for the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Kay co-founded Korey Kay & Partners advertising in 1982 and served as its Chairman and CEO for 32 years. Kay was active in several advertising industry associations.
Sunil Mahadik, an alumnus of Sir J.J. Institute of Applied Art, began his career in advertising as a visualiser with Trikaya. In 1989, he co-founded an advertisement agency called Nexus-Equity. In 1992, he started FX Studios, a design studio which became Flagship Advertising Pvt Ltd in 1995. He also leads the creative team at XOX Design. He is an active member of the Managing Committee of Communication Arts Guild (CAG).

Tapas Relia is an Indian music composer and producer, known for his famous advertising campaigns for brands like Close-Up (toothpaste), Domino's Pizza, Amaron Batteries, IPL and Mahabharat. In Mumbai since 1996, he has also scored music for Bollywood films, including India's first major commercial animation film Hanuman and the recently released film Lakshmi, a film on child trafficking by acclaimed director Nagesh Kukunoor. Based in Mumbai, he works and operates from his own recording studio.
