Gordon Den (born 11 July 1939) is a Rhodesian cricketer. [1] He played 27 first-class matches between 1963/64 and 1969/70 and 2 List A matches in the 1969/70 season.
He is the uncle of current Zimbabwe international Craig Ervine,former Zimbabwe international Sean Ervine,and Ryan Ervine,who played domestic limited overs cricket in Zimbabwe in 2009/10 season. [2] Den's father,Alexander is recorded as having made one appearance for Rhodesia against the touring Australian national side in 1936. [3]
Vangipurapu Venkata Sai Laxman is a former Indian international cricketer and a former cricket commentator and pundit. A right-hand batsman known for his elegant stroke play,Laxman played as a middle-order batsman in Test cricket. Laxman is currently the Head of Cricket at the National Cricket Academy (NCA),and the head coach of the India Under-19 and India A teams. He was called up by Australia when most of their regular first-choice players were playing in World Series Cricket.

An all-rounder who bowls leg spin,Mendis has represented Sri Lanka in the 2012 World Twenty20 and 2015 World Cup. South Africa resumed official international cricket in 1991 after the moratorium imposed by the International Cricket Conference in 1970 was lifted. This was the first edition of the sir Vivian Richards trophy. This had restricted official contact with South Africa as a response to the policy of apartheid and South Africa's refusal to select non-white players for their international sporting teams. He was born in Harare and has played Test and limited overs cricket for the Zimbabwe national cricket team and first-class cricket for a variety of Zimbabwean sides in the Logan Cup. He holds an Irish passport. In January 2022,in the opening fixture of the series against Sri Lanka,Ervine played in his 100th One Day International (ODI) match.
The Southern Rocks is one of five Zimbabwean cricket franchises. They are a first-class cricket team,based in the Masvingo and Matabeleland South area. They play their home matches at Masvingo Sports Club in Masvingo. The team initially ceased to play after the 2013–14 season. In their 47 first-class matches they won 3,lost 27,and drew 17. However,in December 2020,Zimbabwe Cricket confirmed they would be one of the teams playing in the 2020–21 Logan Cup Southern Rocks won their first Logan Cup trophy in the same 2020–21 season.

Hilton William Raymond Cartwright is a Zimbabwean born Australian international cricketer who plays for Western Australia and the Melbourne Stars. He is a right-handed all-rounder. Cartwright made his Test debut for the Australian national team in January 2017,having earlier played for Australia A and the National Performance Squad. In January 2017 he won the Bradman Young Cricketer of the Year prize awarded by Cricket Australia.
