Gorilla Energy is a global energy drink brand, Co-founded by Gleb Lifschitz and headquartered in Los Angeles and Dubai. Production began in 2010, with products now distributed across 30 countries, and the brand selling almost 1 billion cans in 2024.

In 2025, Gorilla Energy appointed Ahmed Elafifi, formerly of Coca Cola, to be its CEO, [1] and Oliver Holzmann, formerly of Red Bull, as its CMO. [4]
Gorilla Energy comes in multiple variants, including Original, Ultimate, Mango Coconut, Green Boost, Kiwi Strawberry, Cherry Berry, Dragonfruit Pineapple, Bubble Gum, and Berry Blast. [5]
The brand has used athlete endorsements, most prominently a multi-year sponsorship with former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. Business media reported renewals and terms of the deal in 2018 and 2021. [6] [7]
In July 2024 the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) office in Ingushetia ruled that labeling Gorilla energy drinks as “halal” constituted an act of unfair competition that could mislead consumers, ordering the removal of the mark. [8] [9]
