The San Diego Convention Center is the primary convention center in San Diego, California. It is located in the Marina district of downtown San Diego near the Gaslamp Quarter, at 111 West Harbor Drive. The center is managed by the San Diego Convention Center Corporation, a non-profit public benefit corporation created by the City of San Diego.
Nan Desu Kan (NDK) is an annual three-day anime convention held during September at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Aurora, Colorado. The convention is the largest anime convention in the Rocky Mountain region and each one takes eighteen months to plan. Its name in Japanese roughly means nan desu ka (何ですか), "what is it?". The parent company, Rocky Mountain Anime Association, is a registered 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization.

Anime Evolution is the general name for a number of anime conventions held in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It was organized by AE Convention Corp. until 2010 and by the Vancouver Anime Convention Society since 2012. It was traditionally held in August until 2012 before moving to June and then later July. The event was an annual three-day convention, and over time added two single day events, Harumatsuri and Akimatsuri. The summer event, called AE Summer, was shortened to a single day event in 2017. The 2019 Anime Evolution event: Harumatsuri saw a return to a multi-day format and a Burnaby venue.
MomoCon is a fan convention held in March or May in Atlanta, Georgia.
LANcouver was a LAN party first hosted on the North Shore of Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It was started in January 2004 and has hosted seven successful events, with the last event in July 2011. The event has attracted an average of approximately 50–120 attendees per event. LANcouver is a BYOC event, which means that everyone attending brings their own PC desktop or laptop. Network resources and power connections are supplied and connected by the administrators on-site during the event, who also host the various servers required for playing LAN based games such as Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike: Source, and Unreal Tournament. LANcouver organizers have also been responsible for running tournaments at other events such as GottaCon 2012.
Otakuthon is Quebec's largest anime convention promoting Japanese animation (anime), Japanese graphic novels (manga), related gaming and Japanese pop-culture. It is held annually for 3 days in downtown Montreal during a weekend in August. It is a non-profit, fan-run anime convention that was initiated by Concordia University's anime club, named Otaku Anime of Concordia University. The name "Otakuthon" is a portmanteau of the Japanese word "otaku" and "marathon". Otakuthon strives to be a bilingual event, having programming, the masquerade and the program book in both official languages. The first edition of Otakuthon was held in 2006 in mid-June, but later moved to early-mid August / late July from 2007 onward. Last year's edition, Otakuthon 2019, was held on August 16–18, 2019 at the Palais des congrès de Montréal.
San Japan is an annual three-day anime convention held during August/September at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, San Antonio Grand Hyatt Hotel, and San Antonio Marriott Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas. The convention is held over Labor Day weekend.

The event is organized by John Simons, the originator of the event along with Startling Events, LLC. The event hosts the annual Comicpalooza Fandom Awards. It is the fourth largest Houston-based organized event behind Houston Rodeo, Houston Pride, and Astroworld Festival.
MystiCon is an American science fiction convention held in Roanoke, Virginia. The name "MystiCon" was chosen by the membership as a tribute to an earlier series of Virginia conventions with that name. The organizers include members that left SheVaCon, another Virginia-based science fiction convention, citing concerns with management and operations.
Minecon, later renamed to Minecon Earth, Minecon Live, Minecraft Live and Minecraft Festival, is an annual interactive live stream and fan convention about the video game Minecraft, hosted by Mojang. The first gathering in 2010 was known as MinecraftCon. The Minecon 2011 convention was held in Las Vegas and celebrated the launch of the game with Minecraft-related discussion panels and gaming areas. The most recent convention, held in Anaheim, had 12,000 attendees. Since 2017, Minecon has taken the form of an interactive live stream, and as such Minecon 2016 was the last in-person convention to bear the Minecon name. However, similar conventions, now to be known as Minecraft Festival, will be held in the future.
LexiCon Gaming Convention is a tabletop board game focused convention in Lexington, KY, held every spring at the Clarion Hotel and Convention Center. LexiCon features a game library of over 2,000 titles, provided by LexiCon founders, convention supporters, local board game groups and the convention itself.
TwitchCon is a convention that occurs twice a year, once in North America and once in Europe for the live streaming video platform, Twitch. The convention is organized by Twitch and its main focus is centered around the culture of video game streaming and video gaming in general. For streamers and content creators, it gives them an opportunity to seek improvements for their streams and grow their brand. It also provides fans with a unique chance to meet streamers, discover new products, play new games, and meet with online communities in real life. The first convention was held in 2015. Before 2019, they were all held at various convention centers in California until the first TwitchCon Europe in 2019, which took place in Berlin. The most recent convention was held on September 27–29, 2019 at the San Diego Convention Center. TwitchCon is hosted twice a year, once in North America, as a three-day-long event, and once in Europe, as a two-day-long event.
FallCon is the largest and only boardgame convention in Calgary, Alberta featuring a broad range of modern boardgames and miniatures. During the three day convention, attendees can learn new games by signing up for hosted game or check-out a game from the library in the open gaming session. The family friendly event also features a live auction Saturday night and a Flea Market Sunday morning. The 2017 event will be at SAIT.
Anime Revolution is a three-day anime convention held annually in August in Vancouver, BC. Initially held in the East Wing of the Vancouver Convention Centre, it has been held in the newer West Wing since 2017. While the name is similar, the convention has no connection to Anime Evolution.
Setsucon is an annual two day anime convention held during January at the Blair County Convention Center in Altoona, Pennsylvania. The convention's name comes from the Japanese word setsu, meaning "snow". It is organized by the Penn State Anime Organization (PSAO). The convention is family-friendly.
