Technical and further education or simply TAFE is the common name in Australia for vocational education, as a subset of tertiary education. TAFE institutions provide a wide range of predominantly vocational courses. Colloquially also known as "Tech".

It was established as an independent statutory body under the TAFE Commission Act 1990. The Minister for Regional Development, Skills and Small Business is responsible for TAFE NSW.
WCG is the managing body that administers several colleges of further education in the English West Midlands, namely in the counties of Warwickshire and Worcestershire. Its most recent acquisition concerned its August 2016 merger with South Worcestershire College of which the two campuses then reverted to their historical names of Evesham College in Evesham and Malvern Hills College in Great Malvern. Wallan, traditionally known as Wallan Wallan, is a town in Victoria, 45 kilometres north of Melbourne's Central Business District. Bendigo TAFE is a regional provider of vocational education, training and assessment services, located in northern and central Victoria, Australia. The institute has been in operation in various guises since 1854. The institute was known as the Loddon Campaspe Institute of TAFE from 1987 to 1990, Bendigo Regional Institute of TAFE (BRIT) from 1990 to 2009, before becoming Bendigo TAFE in 2009.
Technical Education Centres (TEC) are purpose built centres for the delivery of practical secondary school and vocational education programs on a TAFE campus in the state of Victoria, Australia. They aim to attract young people 16–19 years of age to provide trade skills training while they complete a secondary school certificate. Each TEC is administered by the TAFE Institute it is a part of.
Polytechnic West was a State Training Provider established under section 35 of the Vocational Education and Training Act 1996 (WA) based in Perth, Western Australia. Polytechnic West is one of the largest training providers in the state and teaches and instructs in a range of areas from trade-based apprenticeships to business and finance to aviation across its eight campuses in Bentley, Carlisle, Midland, Thornlie, Balga, Jandakot and two Armadale campuses.

Its history stretches back to 1899 with the establishment of the West of Scotland Agricultural College and its current organisation came into being through a merger of smaller institutions.
North Metropolitan TAFE is a state government-funded educational facility delivering Technical and Further Education (TAFE). It services the northern suburbs of Perth across ten campuses. It was formed on 11 April 2016, when the State Government announced after the Independent Review of the Vocational Education and Training Sector in Western Australia, that the 11 State Training Providers would be streamlined and form five new TAFE colleges in Western Australia. This resulted in the merging of Central Institute and West Coast Institute to form North Metropolitan TAFE.
The Gilbert Chandler College was a higher education institution in Werribee, Victoria, Australia. It was a standalone institution from 1939 to 1981, a college of the Victorian College of Agriculture and Horticulture from 1983 to 1997, and a campus of the University of Melbourne from 1997 to 2005. The site was later used as a campus of the Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE until 2020.
