Pathanamthitta District, is one of the 14 districts in the Indian state of Kerala. The district headquarters is in the town of Pathanamthitta. There are four municipalities in Pathanamthitta: Adoor, Pandalam, Pathanamthitta and Thiruvalla.

Kulanada is a village in Pandalam, that is located in the district of Pathanamthitta bordering with Alappuzha district in Kerala state within India. Kulanada assumed its name from the combination of words "Kulam" and "Nada". Kulam meaning pond and Nada meaning the temple where the king of Pandalam worshiped.
Omallur is a small town in Kerala, about 3.5 km south of Pathanamthitta District headquarters. Omallur is famous for Vayal Vanibham, which is an annual farming fair held in the month of Meenam (October). People from both within and outside the town participate in the fair.

Rakthakanda Swamy Temple, Omallur, Pathanamthitta District, known as "Omallur Temple" traces its history to the 8th century AD. It is a pilgrim centre on the way to Sabarimala from Pandalam, the birthplace of Sree Ayyappan. The Temple is famous for its annual festival of 10 days in the month of Medom of Malayalam Era. The 10-day festival is celebrated by 10 Karayogams in and around Omallur. During the festival days, there is a customary Arattu procession to the river Achenkovil. More than 10 elephants decorated with Nettipattom will be a speciality of this Arattu. The Temple has a Golden Flag Staff erected in the year 1952 AD. Omallur is 4 km south from the district headquarters Pathanamthitta and 11 km from MC Road. Omallur Temple has many interesting stone carvings. Kallunadasvaram and Kalchangala are two among them.

Kalanjoor is a village located in Pathanamthitta district state of Kerala, India. The place is 22 km away from district headquarters. As a part of Konni assembly constituency and Pathanamthitta. Kalanjoor is also a panchayath where share the border of Kollam and Pathanamthitta District as the part of Parakode block panchayath. This place has mixed with a population of Hindus, Muslims and Christians. The famous Hindu temple "Thrikalanjoor Sree Mahadeva Temple" situated in Kalanjoor Town close to Punalur Muvattupuzha Main Eastern Highway. This is one of the biggest Shiva Temple in Pathanamthitta district and the first Sabarimala edathavalam on the way of Sabarimala from the Southern part of Pathanamthitta district. So that this place is also known as the "Southern Gateway of Sabarimala". One of the famous Christian Orthodox church St. George Valyapalli also situated in the same village and one of the India's largest aqueducts is also passing through Kalanjoor as part of Kallada Irrigation Project (KIP). Many of the inhabitants of this village are settlers there due to the introduction of rubber plantations. A number of people from Kalanjoor are employed in abroad, mainly in the Middle East.
Prakkanam is a village in Pathanamthitta district in the state of Kerala, India. It is situated between Omalloor and Elanthoor.
The Eparchy of Pathanamthitta is a Syro-Malankara Catholic Church ecclesiastical territory or eparchy of the Catholic Church in Kerala, India. The diocese was created by Pope Benedict XVI on 25 January 2010. Yoohanon Chrysostom became the first and current eparch. St. Peter’s Malankara Catholic Church in the episcopal see of Pathanamthitta serves as the cathedral church. National Highways 183 is located in India. It connects Kollam High school Jn in Kerala with Dindigul in Tamil Nadu. Starting from Kollam it runs northwards to Chengannur and turns east at Kottayam and runs along the northern border of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary before crossing the border into Tamil Nadu and end near Dindigul, where it joins NH 83(Coimbatore - Nagapattinam). This highway was previously known as NH 220.
National Highway 183A, also known as NH 183A, is a National Highway in the Indian state of Kerala that runs from Chavara Titanium Junction, Kollam, to Vandiperiyar via Adoor and Pathanamthitta. It is the 4th National Highway passing through the Kollam district.

Government Higher Secondary School Meenangadi, Kerala, India, was started in 1958. The school is situated about 600 meters from Meenangadi town. In the higher secondary there are science, commerce and humanities batches. The school is popular for the various achievements in art, sports and club activities and social services.
Kaipattoor Bridge is a concrete bridge in Pathanamthitta, Kerala that connects Kaipattoor and Omalloor over the Achankovil River.
