Government Medical College also Karimnagar Medical College is a medical college located in Kothapalli, Telangana, India. The college is affiliated with Kaloji Naryana Rao of Warangal. It was inaugurated and began operating with the 2023-2024 batch. [1]
The college was among nine other Government Medical Colleges inaugurated on 15 September 2023 by the Chief Minister of Telangana. [2] Initially, the college has a permitted intake of 100 MBBS students per batch. [3] [4]
Osmania University is a collegiate public state university located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Mir Osman Ali Khan, the 7th Nizam of Hyderabad, issued a firman calling for its creation on 29 August 1917. Karimnagar is also known as Elagandula is a city and District Headquarters in the Indian state of Telangana. Karimnagar is a major urban agglomeration and third largest city in the state. It is governed by the Municipal Corporation and is the headquarters of the Karimnagar district It is situated on the banks of Manair River, which is a tributary of the Godavari River. It was formed in 2014 by splitting the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation.
