Grace Amponsah-Ababio (born 22 December 1941) is a Ghanaian Dentist and a retired Diplomat. [1] [2]
Grace had secondary education from 1955 to 1959 Wesley Girls' Senior High School, Cape Coast, Ghana. From 1961 to 1962. She studied at the National Technical University of Ukraine "KPI" in the Soviet Union . From 1962 to 1966 he studied at the Odessa National Medical University in the Soviet Union. As a dentist, she specialized in stomatology.
From 1967 to 1969, she was a house officer at the Komo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi. From 1972 to 1974 she was a senior dentist at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital. From 1974 to 1978 she was a leading dental surgeon at the municipal polyclinic in the district Ussher Fort in Accra. From January 1979 to September 2001 she led her private dental practice. From 1989 to 2001, she was one of the initiators of the "Mobile Dental Clinic" and "Social Dental Outreach" with the dental services for communities in need in Ghana. From September 2001 to September 5, 2004, she was ambassador in The Hague (Netherlands) and was accredited by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons [3]

It is North Carolina's second dental school, which enrolled its inaugural class in the fall of 2011. ECU SoDM was established to address the shortage of dentists in the rural regions across North Carolina. The SoDM built 8 community service learning centers located in rural and underserved areas throughout the state. Simisola Olayemi Onibuwe Johnson was a Nigerian dentist and gender advocate who served as Minister for Social Development and Culture during the nation's second republic. She was a former chairman of Allied Bank and the Lagos State branch of National Council of Women Societies. Johnson and Grace Guobadia both qualified as dentists in 1957, making both women the first set of trained female dentists in the country. She was a fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.
Rafiuddin Ahmed was an Indian dentist, educator and later minister in the West Bengal cabinet, who founded the first dental college of India, Dr. R. Ahmed Dental College and Hospital, later named 'The Calcutta Dental College', where he remained its principal until 1950. He established the Indian Dental Journal in 1925, and played a key role in founding the Bengal Dentist Act in 1939. In 1946, he established The Bengal Dental Association which was then renamed as the Indian Dental Association. The Government of India awarded him the Padma Bhushan in 1964.

Elaine C. Wagner is a retired United States Navy rear admiral. She was the first female pediatric dentist to achieve flag rank in the United States Navy, and served as the 36th Chief of the United States Navy Dental Corps. Her retirement ceremony was held on January 9, 2017, and she was transferred to the retired list the following April, after 33 years of service in the United States Navy. She is a member of the International College of Dentists.
