Graham Skipper is an American actor, director and screenwriter. [1] [2] He is best known for his roles as Herbert West in Re-Animator: The Musical , Seth Hampton in Almost Human , Zack Connors in The Mind's Eye , Gordon Hardesty in Beyond the Gates and for writing and directing the horror film Sequence Break. Graham was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. He studied theatre at Fordham University, New York. He is a founding member of the comedy troupe FUCT. In 2011, he moved to Los Angeles for Stuart Gordon's stage adaptation of Re-Animator: The Musical. [7]
In 2017, his horror film Sequence Break, premiered at Fantasia International Film Festival, Chattanooga Film Festival and London FrightFest Film Festival. [8] [9] It also won Best Feature at the Chattanooga Film Festival. [10]

Perfect Blue is a 1997 Japanese psychological horror-thriller anime film directed by Satoshi Kon. It is loosely based on the novel Perfect Blue: Complete Metamorphosis by Yoshikazu Takeuchi, with a screenplay by Sadayuki Murai. Featuring the voices of Junko Iwao, Rica Matsumoto, Shiho Niiyama, Masaaki Okura, Shinpachi Tsuji and Emiko Furukawa, the plot follows a member of a Japanese idol group who retires from music to pursue an acting career. As she becomes a victim of stalking by her obsessive fan, gruesome murders take place, and she begins losing her grip on reality. The film deals with the blurring of the line between fantasy and reality, a commonly found theme in Kon's other works, such as Millennium Actress (2001) and Paprika (2006).

He is best known for starring as Herbert West in the Re-Animator film series (1985–2003) and portraying a number of characters in the Star Trek universe, most notably Brunt and the various Weyouns on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1994–1999) and Thy'lek Shran on Star Trek: Enterprise (2001–2005).
Re-Animator is a 1985 American comedy horror film loosely based on the 1922 H. P. Lovecraft serial novelette "Herbert West–Reanimator". Directed by Stuart Gordon and produced by Brian Yuzna, the film stars Jeffrey Combs as Herbert West, a medical student who has invented a reagent which can re-animate deceased bodies. Re-Animator: The Musical is an American musical stage-play based on the 1985 film Re-Animator which was adapted from the stories by H.P. Lovecraft. First performed in 2011 at The Steve Allen Theater in Los Angeles, California, the show won several awards including the LA Weekly award for Best Musical. One critic for Variety praised it, saying "not since 'Little Shop of Horrors' has a screamfest tuner so deftly balanced seriousness and camp."

Why Horror? is a 2014 Canadian documentary film directed by Nicolas Kleiman and Rob Lindsay and written and co-produced by Lindsay. A work-in-progress draft of the film was screened in August 2014 at the Fantasia Festival and the official final version was screened on 3 October 2014 at the Feratum Film Festival. The documentary explores the psychology of the reasons why people enjoy the horror genre and includes interviews by several well-known horror icons.

Video Watchdog’s Tim Lucas referred to it as one of the 10 “most vital” horror film books of all time, and Ian MacAllister-McDonald of the LA Review of Books called it “the next step in genre theory, as well as the most frightening and heart-rending memoir I’ve read in years.” Her debut feature as a filmmaker, the three-hour documentary Woodlands Dark and Days Bewitched: A History of Folk Horror, premiered at SXSW 2021 where it won the Midnighters Audience Award.
