Gran Hermano VIP 6 was the sixth season of the reality television Gran Hermano VIP series. The season was launched on 13 September 2018 on Telecinco. Jorge Javier Vazquez became the new host of the show, continuing his job as host of the last two Civilian seasons. [1] Sandra Barneda has been confirmed to be back as the host of the weekly Debate. The motto of this season is "Who will dare?"
The first official housemate of the season, Mónica Hoyos, was announced on August 25 in the TV show Sábado Deluxe. [2] The rest of the housemates were confirmed in later days. In the premiere day, it was announced that some contestants would face people from their past. Oriana would have to live with her ex-boyfriend Tony Spina and Isa Pantoja would have to live with Techi, who she shares an ex-boyfriend with. Also, it was announced that Miriam Saavedra, Mónica's arch-enemy, would enter the house as a housemate on Day 4 at the Debate. [3] On Day 3, Oriana decided to leave the house. [4] On Day 15, Omar Montes, Isa Pantoja's boyfriend, entered the house as a new housemate. [5]

Gran Hermano is a reality television series broadcast in Spain on Telecinco produced by Zeppelin TV. It is part of the Big Brother franchise first developed in the Netherlands. The Spanish version of Big Brother was the first reality show to be broadcast in the country, which obtained a 36.5% rating share in its premiere and was an audience leader.
Gran Hermano 5 is the fifth season of the reality television series Gran Hermano which was broadcast in Spain on Telecinco and La Siete and produced by Endemol. Season 5 lasted for 113 days from September 21, 2003 to January 11, 2004. Nuria Yáñez emerged as the winner.

It's the second season for the reality show El Reencuentro. In this season, there are contestants of several famous realities from Telecinco. Seven pairs of ex-contestants with unfinished business from different reality shows are reunited and must live and fight together for the award.

Beginning on the second week there is also a nominations show known as "Última Hora". Gran Hermano 12+1: La Re-vuelta was broadcast on May 30, 2012 and ended on June 13, 2012. On May 24, 2012, during the main show of the Gala for Gran Hermano 12+1, the host Mercedes Milá confirmed that the Gran Hermano house will open again just three days after the Gran Hermano 12+1 finale, this time however with former housemates from last season of Gran Hermano. The grand prize of this season is €20,000 and every ex-housemate from Gran Hermano 12+1 could win the prize.

The final prize of the show is 30,000 Euros. In addition, the show has a similar format to the previous Gran Hermano shows, featuring weekly tasks, head of the house, nominations and evictions.
