Grand Street Media is an independent video production company located in the Flatiron district of New York City, United States. The company was founded in 2002. They have produced content for Maxim Magazine's Maximum Warrior show, [1] The Doe Fund, [2] and New York City mayoral candidate George T. McDonald. [3] The company was founded in 2002 by Lowell Freedman and Jesse Guma. [4]

SEFOR

SEFOR was an experimental fast breeder reactor located in Cove Creek Township, Washington County, near Strickler, in northwest Arkansas. The site consisted of a 20-Megawatt (thermal), Sodium-Cooled Test Reactor, a Shop Building, an Operations Building, a Maintenance Shed, and an Electrical Transformer yard. It operated from 1969 to 1972 when the program ended. It was then acquired by the University of Arkansas, in hopes that it could be used as a research facility in 1975, but it never happened. The University maintained the decommissioned site until finally receiving federal funds to dismantle the facility in 2016, which completed in 2019.

It was founded in 1970 by independent filmmakers Robert Nakamura, Alan Ohashi, Eddie Wong, and Duane Kubo, who were students of EthnoCommunications, an alternative film school at University of California, Los Angeles. The mission of VC is to "promote intercultural understanding through the creation, presentation, preservation and support of media works by and about Asian Pacific Americans." Visual Communications created learning kits, photographed community events, recorded oral histories, and collected historical images of Asian American life. Additionally, it created films, video productions, community media productions, screening activities, and photographic exhibits and publications.
