Grant Barnette (born March 31, 1996) [2] is an American ultrarunner, trail runner and ski mountaineering athlete. [3]

Early life and career

Barnette attended Mars Hill University on an athletic scholarship, competing in both indoor and outdoor Track and field, as well as Cross country running. [4]

After hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2016 [5] and the Pacific Crest Trail in 2017, he transitioned to ultrarunning in his twenties, gaining recognition for his performances in UTMB World Series events such as the Grindstone 100 Miler and the Speedgoat 50K.

In 2014, she won the Marathon Des Sables multi-stage endurance race on her first attempt. Prior to running, her main sport was cross-country skiing. She was crewed at the 2007 Western States by U.S. Senator Max Baucus of Montana, where Kimball lives. She lives in Bozeman, Montana.

The JFK 50 Mile or the JFK 50 Mile Memorial is an ultramarathon that takes place annually in Washington County, Maryland, United States.
