Grant Heard (born March 4, 1978) is an American football coach currently serving as the wide receivers coach for Eastern Michigan. He played college football at the University of Mississippi.
Heard was a wide receiver for Ole Miss from 1996 to 2000, where he participated in four bowl games and finished his career as the all-time leader in career receptions and touchdowns. [1] He is still among the top ten in career receiving yards, receptions, and touchdowns. He signed with the San Francisco 49ers in 2001, only appearing in the preseason. He signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2002, but was assigned to NFL Europe.
Heard began his coaching career at Jackson Preparatory School in 2002 as the team's quarterbacks, wide receivers, and special teams coach. He spent 2003 as the wide receivers coach at Hargrave Military Academy, where Hargrave had a 8–1 record in his lone season there. He left to be a graduate assistant at NC State in 2004, and left to be a graduate assistant at his alma mater Ole Miss in 2005. He spent two seasons at Ole Miss before leaving to be the wide receivers coach at Western Michigan in 2007. [2] He left to be the offensive coordinator at Lambuth University under Hugh Freeze in 2008. He spent the 2008 and 2009 seasons with the team before leaving to be the passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Arkansas State under newly hired offensive coordinator Freeze. [3] After Freeze was named the head coach at Ole Miss in 2012, Heard followed him to Oxford to be the wide receivers coach for his alma mater. He spent five seasons at Ole Miss, leaving after the 2016 season. [4] Heard was named the passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach on Tom Allen's staff at Indiana in 2017. [5] He was promoted to co-offensive coordinator in 2020. [6] In March 2022, Heard was hired to be the new wide receivers coach at the University of Central Florida, starting in the 2022 season.
Kodi Burns is an American football coach who is currently the Assistant head coach, Co-offensive coordinator and Wide receivers coach for South Florida Bulls football. He was previously the wide receivers coach at the University of Tennessee and Auburn University, where he played college football first as a quarterback and later as a wide receiver winning a national championship in 2010.
Jacques Chapdelaine is a Canadian football coach and former professional slotback in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He most recently served as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL. He has also served as the offensive coordinator for four other CFL teams, the head coach of the Montreal Alouettes (2016-17), and the head coach for two Canadian university football teams. He has won three Grey Cup championships as an assistant coach and one Vanier Cup as the head coach of the Laval Rouge et Or. He played collegiately for the Simon Fraser Clan as a wide receiver and played between 1983 and 1989 for four different CFL teams.
George McDonald is an American football coach. He is currently the wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator for Ole Miss.
Nick William Sheridan is an American college football coach and former quarterback. He is the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the University of Alabama, positions he has held since 2024. He previously served as the tight ends coach at the University of Washington and was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at the Indiana University. He played college football for Michigan.
Trerein "Tre" E. Roberson is an American professional football defensive back for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was signed by the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent following the 2016 NFL draft. He then played for the Stampeders until he signed with the Chicago Bears in 2020. Prior to entering the NFL, Roberson was a collegiate quarterback at Indiana University and Illinois State University. Roberson had a 3–4 record for his career as the starting quarterback at Indiana and a 23–5 record for Illinois State.
Charley Molnar Jr. is an American college football coach. Molnar served head football coach at the University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass), for two seasons, from 2012 to 2013, compiling a record of 2–22. Molnar had previously been the offensive coordinator at the University of Notre Dame.
Jedd Ari Fisch is an American football coach, currently the head coach at the University of Washington. He was previously the head coach at the University of Arizona for three seasons.
Clinton James Trickett is an American football coach who serves as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Jacksonville State Gamecocks football team. He was previously the tight ends coach and pass game coordinator for Georgia Southern University. He played college football at Florida State and West Virginia.
Winston October a Guyanese college football coach and former defensive back. He is the offensive coordinator for the College of William & Mary, a position he has held since 2025. He was previously wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator for the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He is a former Canadian football defensive back who played six seasons in the CFL with the Montreal Alouettes and Eskimos. He played college football at the University of Richmond and attended Gar-Field Senior High School in Woodbridge, Virginia. He was also a member of the Washington Redskins of the National Football League.
Joseph Francis Judge is an American college and professional football coach who is currently a senior analyst for the Ole Miss Rebels. Judge served as the head coach of the New York Giants from 2020 to 2021. Prior to joining the Giants, Judge served as an assistant coach for the Patriots from 2012 to 2019. The Patriots appeared in four Super Bowls, winning three of them, during Judge's tenure.
Shea Christopher Patterson is an American professional football quarterback for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football for the Ole Miss Rebels (2016–2017) and the Michigan Wolverines (2018–2019). He was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2020. He was drafted in the 2018 Major League Baseball draft by the Texas Rangers and they retain his rights until 2024. The Michigan Panthers drafted Patterson with the first pick in the 2022 USFL draft. He has also played with the New Orleans Breakers of the United States Football League (USFL).
Thomas E. Allen is an American college football coach who is the defensive coordinator at Clemson University. He previously served as the head coach at Indiana University Bloomington from 2017 to 2023, and was the defensive coordinator at Pennsylvania State University for the 2024 season. He was named the 2020 Big Ten Coach of the Year and AFCA Coach of the Year.
The 2017 Ole Miss Rebels football team represented the University of Mississippi in the 2017 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Rebels played their home games at Vaught–Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi and competed in the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). They were led by then-interim head coach Matt Luke. They finished the season 6–6, 3–5 in SEC play to finish in sixth place in the Western Division.
Walter A. Bell IV is an American college football coach and former wide receiver. He is the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for Western Michigan University, positions he has held since 2024. He was the head coach for the UMass Minutemen from 2019 until 2021. He played college football at Middle Tennessee for coach Andy McCollum from 2003 to 2006. Brent Forrest Stockstill is an American football coach and former player who is currently a defensive analyst for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). A former quarterback at Middle Tennessee, he set multiple career program records including passing yards, touchdown passes, completed passes, and pass attempts. Stockstill had also obtained a reputation for being one of the toughest players in college football for his ability to play while being hindered by injuries.
