He is often cited as an influence by other Hispanic urban performers.

The museum contains one of the most important Pre-Raphaelite collections in the Western Hemisphere, holding some 4,500 pieces of art distributed among fourteen galleries.

Sentimiento is the sixth studio album by Puerto Rican recording artist Ivy Queen. It was released on March 27, 2007 by Univision Records. The album features production collaborations with several Puerto Rican music producers including Monserrate & DJ Urba, Noriega, and Luny Tunes. It also features vocal collaborations with Don Omar, Arcángel, Tito "El Bambino", Ken-Y, Randy and Naldo. The album includes solo performances by Baby Rasta, Divino, Mikey Perfecto, Naldo and Noriega. Musically, the album alternates between reggaetón, bolero, and salsa. The move in musical composition from reggaetón and hip hop is credited to Queen's evolution as a musical artist.

René Pérez Joglar, known professionally as Residente, is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is best known as one of the founders of the alternative rap band Calle 13. Residente released five albums with Calle 13 before announcing his solo career in 2015. Residente released his debut solo album in 2017. He has won four Grammy Awards and 27 Latin Grammy Awards—more than any other Latin artist. Residente has also delved into producing documentaries including Sin Mapa (2009) and Residente (2017) and has directed some of his own music videos.

"En Que Fallamos" is a song by Puerto Rican reggaetón recording artist Ivy Queen, from her sixth studio album, Sentimiento (2007). It was composed by Queen, produced by Rafi Mercenario, and released as the second single from the album in February 2007. Characterized as "hardcore reggaetón", the song lyrically tells a story of when a relationship ends. A remix with Ken-Y was also recorded and featured on the platinum edition of the album. The song's accompanying music video was filmed in Mexico beginning on July 3, 2007. It was directed by Ron Jaramillo. The song reached the top 15 of both the Latin Rhythm Airplay and Latin Tropical Airplay charts. Ivy Queen along with Ken-Y also performed the remix to the song as a part of the setlist of her 2008 World Tour which was held from the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum, known as the Coliseum of Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico as well on R.K.M & Ken-Y's Romantico 360° Tour in 2009.
"Pobre Corazón" (English: Poor Heart) is a song recorded by Divino for Ivy Queen's sixth studio album, Sentimiento (2007). It was composed by Divino along with Queen and produced by Marcos Sánchez. A remix version with Queen was also recorded and included on the platinum edition of the album. Separate salsa and bachata versions were also later recorded. Ivy Queen and Divino performed the remix of the song as a part of the setlist of her 2008 World Tour which was held from the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum known as the Coliseum of Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Charting on five Billboard charts, the song reached #24 on the Latin Pop Airplay chart.
The 26th Lo Nuestro Awards were presented by the American network Univision, honoring the best Latin music of 2013 in the United States. The ceremony took place on February 20, 2014, at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida beginning at 5:00 p.m. PST. The Lo Nuestro Awards were presented in 33 categories and it was televised by Univision. Mexican singer Ninel Conde and Cuban American actor William Levy hosted the show.
R.K.M & Ken-Y is a reggaeton duo formed in 2003 by José Nieves (R.K.M) and Kenny Vázquez (Ken-Y). The artists are renowned in the Latin music world for being the first to successfully fuse mainstream pop music with the reggaeton street rhythms of Puerto Rico and expose the style to a wide international audience. The sound introduced by R.K.M & Ken-Y would go on to inspire the pop reggaeton songs of successful acts such as CNCO, J Balvin, and Maluma. The duo had a very successful career with the Spanish-speaking audience of Latin America, the United States, and Spain until their separation in 2013. In June 2017, the duo announced their official return by Pina Records. In mid-2021 the Duo confirmed that they are on hiatus and are currently working on their solo projects.
Mikey Perfecto, is a Puerto Rican reggaeton recording artist. He was first thrust into the music scene as the lead vocal, leader, and songwriter for the Latin urban music group, 3-2 GET FUNKY. With 3-2 Get Funky, Mikey Perfecto recorded 5 studio albums from 1993 to 1998. He recorded his first solo album in 1999, "Angel Perdido", a mixture of salsa, hip hop, and reggaeton urban music. His second studio album Evolucion Arrestada (2004) reached number nineteen on the Billboard Tropical Albums chart. The lead single "La Matadora" featuring fellow recording artist Daddy Yankee reached number thirty-five on the Billboard Tropical Songs chart. Perfecto was featured on Cuban singer Celia Cruz's 2002 hit single "La Negra Tiene Tumbao". It reached number thirty on the Billboard Latin Songs chart and number four on the Billboard Tropical Songs chart. The song received nominations for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Music Video of the Year at the Latin Grammy Awards of 2002. The parent album won the Latin Grammy Award for Best Salsa Album. It was nominated for Album of the Year. The song was also nominated Tropical Song of the Year at the 2003 Lo Nuestro Awards. Mikey Perfecto whose real name is Miguel Angel Soto Cordova, obtained a master's degree in Social Work and a post-master's degree in Clinical Social Work from the Doctorate Program of the Interamerican University Of Puerto Rico. He is the author of the Book "En Cuerpo y Alma" where he details his struggles and challenges during the first wave of Puerto Ricos’ urban artist movement. He currently works with troubled youth, and communities afflicted by poverty, addiction, and other obstacles produced by these conditions.
Poli Marichal is a Puerto Rican artist living in Los Angeles, California who works in illustration, painting and filmmaking. She is the daughter of painter Carlos Marichal. Her works have consistently explored one of two themes: (1) social, political, and environmental concerns, and (2) introspection and emotions. She is also celebrated as one of the first experimental filmmakers in Puerto Rico, starting this pursuit in the mid-1980s. Marichal has also taught printmaking classes in New York City and California. Some of her awards include the Rockefeller Media Arts Fellowship and a New Works Grant from the Massachusetts Council for the Arts.
