Great Plains Lutheran High School (GPLHS) is a coeducational high school in Watertown, South Dakota, United States. It is the only private high school in Watertown. GPLHS is owned and operated by 48 congregations belonging to the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). [2]

Peter Alan Thomas is a quarterbacks coach at Cincinnati and former Arena Football League (AFL) quarterback. He has previously coached at Louisville and Appalachian State.

Ben Edwards is an American football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. He played football and basketball at York High School in Yorktown, Virginia. He played college football at Richmond for four years. Edwards earned First-team All-CAA honors in 2012 after leading the CAA in receptions with 80. He was also named First-team All-CAA his senior year in 2013. After going undrafted in the 2014 NFL Draft, Edwards remained unsigned until being signed by the New York Giants in May 2015. He played in two games for the Giants in 2015, catching one pass for nine yards. He spent the entire 2016 season on injured reserve and became a free agent afterwards.

Cerebral Palsy Football, also called 7-a-side football or formerly Paralympic Football, is an adaptation of association football for athletes with cerebral palsy and other neurological disorders, including stroke and traumatic brain injury. From 1978 to 2014, cerebral palsy football was governed by the Cerebral Palsy International Sports and Recreation Association (CPISRA). In January 2015, governance of the sport was taken over by the International Federation of Cerebral Palsy Football, under the umbrella of Para Football.

Joel Heath is an American football defensive end who is a free agent. He was a three-year starter at Mount Healthy High School in Mount Healthy, Ohio and earned First-team All-State honors twice. He was also named the Associated Press All-Ohio Division II Co-Defensive Player of the Year his senior season in 2010. Heath played college football at Michigan State, where he was a three-year letterman. He was named Honorable Mention All-Big Ten his senior year in 2015. He played in 39 games during his college career, recording 60 tackles, 4.5 sacks, two pass breakups, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. Heath played for the Houston Texans from 2016 to 2019, and was a member of the Denver Broncos in 2020 and the Detroit Lions in 2021.

Gregory Brian Mancz is an American football center for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Toledo, where he was a four-year starter at several positions along the offensive line. He earned various All-American and All-MAC honors during his college career. His senior season in 2014, he won the Vern Smith Leadership Award, which is given to the best player in the MAC. Mancz went undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft and signed with the Texans shortly thereafter. Due to a season-ending injury to Nick Martin, Mancz was the Texans' starting center for the entire 2016 season.

Jordan Cornell Williams is a former American football linebacker. He played his senior season of high school football at Gainesville High School in Gainesville, Florida. He played college football at Tennessee for four years. Williams played in 44 games, of which he started 21, during his college career, recording 66 tackles and 6.5 sacks. After going undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft, he signed with the New York Jets and spent time on the team's practice squad before being released in September 2015. He was then signed by the Miami Dolphins, where he spent time on both the practice squad and active roster, before being released in September 2016. He was then signed to the Giants' practice squad in December 2016.

Connor Hamlett is a former American football tight end. He lettered in football, basketball and track at Meadowdale High School in Lynnwood, Washington, where he earned All-State honors in football his senior year. He played college football at Oregon State, recording career totals of 104 receptions for 1,109 yards and 10 touchdowns. He finished third in school history in receptions for a tight end and fifth in receiving yards for a tight end. He was named Pac-12 All-Academic second-team his junior season in 2013 and Pac-12 All-Academic first-team his senior season in 2014. Hamlett signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars after going undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft, and has since been a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans Saints, Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys, Arizona Hotshots, and Seattle Dragons.

Steven Longa is a former Cameroonian professional American football linebacker. He played football at Saddle Brook High School in Saddle Brook, New Jersey, where he earned All-State honors his senior year. He played college football at Rutgers, where he was a three-year letterman. In 2013, Longa was named a Freshman All-American after leading NCAA Division I in tackles by a freshman with 123. He was named Third Team All-Big Ten in 2015. He started 37 games during his college career and recorded 342 tackles, which was the third most in school history. Longa forwent his final year of college eligibility to enter the 2016 NFL Draft. After going undrafted, he signed with the Seattle Seahawks. He was released by the Seahawks before the start of the season and was then signed by the Detroit Lions.

Ryan O'Malley is an American football tight end who is currently a free agent. He played college football at the University of Pennsylvania, and signed with the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2016.

Jarrod Wesley Pughsley is an American football offensive guard who is currently a free agent. He played football and basketball at Lima Senior High School in Lima, Ohio. He played college football at Akron, where he was a four-year letterman. Pughsley was named Third-team All-MAC his senior year in 2013. He played in 35 games, and started 23 of them, during his college career. After going undrafted in the 2014 NFL Draft, he signed with the Dallas Cowboys. However, Pughsley suffered an injury and was released in July 2014. He was then a member of the Kansas City Chiefs from 2014 to 2016, spending the majority of the time on the practice squad. He played in two regular season games and one playoff game for the Chiefs in 2015. Pughsley was signed to the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad in November 2016 and was released by the team before the start of the 2017 regular season.

Thomas Frevert is a former American football placekicker. He played college football at Northwest Missouri State. He has been a member of the Kansas City Renegades, Oklahoma Defenders, Salina Bombers and Philadelphia Soul.

Chris Odom is an American football defensive end for the Houston Roughnecks of the United Football League (UFL). He played college football at Arkansas State. Odom has also been a member of the Atlanta Falcons, Green Bay Packers, Salt Lake Stallions, Washington Redskins, Calgary Stampeders, Houston Gamblers and Cleveland Browns. With the Gamblers, he led the USFL in sacks and was named its Defensive Player of the Year in 2022.
